In every June-July, Tokyo summer hits 35°C even more heat ,wear a summer t-shirt 👕 and shorts. And, Every Sunday in every Summer-there's Street of AKIHABARA will clear the streets just enjoy around the middle of the street (no cars,no truck 🚚 traffic) from 9am to 6pm. This is better than Christmas or Golden Week. But a reminder in March, there's a event called 'Anime Japan' before April's Golden Week.

Hi, I know I'm one year late to find this video, but I'll ask anyway: we are traveling to Japan this year late July/early August. I was preparing for a really hot summer trip, do you think the rainy season will still be strong around that time? Should I bring a light rain jacket, just in case? Are temperatures low during this time, or will it still be hot, even though it rains? Love your videos, keep up the good work ❤

My plan was to visit Seoul, Osaka and Taipei this July, but then I found videos about all of those places explaining to me why I should not go there in July. My problem though is that almost all of East Asia is very uncomfortable in July. So I would have to choose another continent or another month.

Hello- Great Video. I was going through the comment list and I must say that its great that you have replied to each one of the comments. My cousins and I are planning a trip for 14 days form 5th June to 19th June, first 4 days we will be in Kyoto and we will use the JR pass to visit places keeping Kyoto as a base and then 10 days in Tokyo. In terms of rains, will it be very heavy that we will not be able to get out at all ? or light rain ? do you recommend that instead of doing kyoto we go up north and explore that place? Thank you
@JapanwithNao
@JapanwithNao Жыл бұрын
Thank you for asking! In terms of rain, it's mostly not heavy rain so you can go out with an umbrella or any other rain gear! It depends on what you want in Japan but in my opinion, 10 days in Tokyo is too long? Of course, Tokyo is Japan's capital city but it does not have many great tourist spots. I like your idea of going North. If you have the JR pass, Hiroshima prefecture is also a good place to go. It's the west side of Japan but you can go there from Kyoto station by Shinkansen (bullet train). Anyway, wherever you go, it must be a nice trip. Safe trip and have fun in Japan😉

Original plan is to go to Japan in Spring 2024. However, I just got a work schedule and found out it might not possible. However, I might have an opening to visit there during either February or July. OTOH, I'll never get a chance to visit Japan or any country during spring as I've rarely experience that season, since I'm from Malaysia. Anyway, how cold is Japan during February? and how hot is it in July? Any advice on how I should prepare for either months?

Thank you for your comment! It depends on cities but February in Tokyo is still cold. The average highest temperature is around 10 and the lowest is around 0 sometimes. I was on a 12 days Japan trip just last March to Osaka-Kyoto-Tokyo and I’m planning to return to Tokyo-Kyoto again from 24 May to 12 June. May I know 1. Is it windy and cold on rainy days 2. Is it usually heavy rain or drizzle on rainy days 3. It’s about 28 degrees during the day, is it still too cold to wear a thin t-shirt and shorts?

Thank you for your comment! Fukuoka is a good city but I would say not many places for sightseeing😲 However, local foods there are really popular so most Japanese people go to Fukuoka for foods such as Pork Ramen, Motsunabe, and so on. Food stalls in the Nakasu area are also famous. If you need any sightseeing spots, I would say Dazaifu is the most popular there. Thank you for watching and sorry for the late response! I think the beginning of June is better since the rainy season may not start yet. It depends on the year but, the end of June is a highly rainy season. I believe The Disney (Sea) is open even when it's rainy as far as it's not like a typhoon or something! My school trip (long time ago) to Disneyland was a heavy rainy day.haha I'm not sure whether your children like it or not but there are many Gacha stores in Tokyo. I liked it when I was young. Your children may also enjoy it! In terms of safety, it's fine, I guess, but during rush hours (7:00-9:30 and 18:00-20:00) There are so many people on the Train and around the station, so be careful with your boys.
