Good list. People don't realize that motovlogging isn't easy. I've seen so many come and go over the past few years. Content is probably the biggest one. You gotta find what works for you. If everyone did all the same stuff it would be a little boring.

True audio is a pain. I have my audio down at the moment, but trying to dial in my brothers comms is turning into a pain. Content is hard for me as well, coming up with different ideas to talk about. I can do ride videos or accessory videos, but actual moto vlog ideas are hard. I have trouble with public speaking, all nervous and tongue tied. money for all the equipment also. I use what I have and I would like better equipment. I also need to learn to take better videos, like get my subject matter in frame, LOL.

Good list...My whole channel is based on Motovlog. I hate doing talking head. I would much rather talk and ride. I know some say they don't like motovloging because their rides are therapy. I get that...I do a lot of riding without recording...but I ride everyday. Its my primary transportation and my cameras are always with me. Not on my helmet but, in the tour pack. If I think of something I record then turn off the cameras...I do most of my editing in my head and only record what I think I will use. If I miss something cool like a waterfall or an American flag waving on the side of the road..I turn around...I'm on my bike and in no hurry...I have probably deleted more files than I have used. As far as originality....well, I wonder if Adam Sandavol or Scooter Tramp Scotty get butt hurt when they see someone with a gopro strapped to their helmet. If so we all copy cats...As you know there are a A LOT of motovloggers on youtube and no way anyone can watch it all. I struggled with this at first...I wanted to be completely original but, I came to the realization of no matter how original I think the topic is...someone has done it. So, I don't worry about it anymore...none of us "own" this content...we cant get our feelings hurt if someone has the same topic. For someone without "the gift of gab" you do a great job!!! and if people like you then a little wind noise or off color video wont matter...Good stuff man!!!

I got rid of the helmet problem, went to open face. For content I just put the wife in some of my videos. As far as keeping up, no one can keep up with my swag. LOL, awesome video! I'm gonna try to respond to all these points, since they are salient and I have a self-fulfilling need to prove something, to someone? 1. Try a half helmet :D 2. I try to entertain and do silly stuff on the bike and see how it works. I've realized that I'm no expert, so my "informative" vlogs don't do well, and are less fun to record than some random thoughts that pop into my head! I'm not showing how my day went, because I'm boring, but if I do something I think is interesting, I'll record it. 3. I just use the GoPro settings and some light color grading, and I think my stuff looks OK. 4. I record so much that I don't really feel pressure - I always have something to edit and publish :D 5. Try using The Remote, from GoPro - it saves me a ton of time in editing, and my batteries last twice as long on a ride. 6. It is what it is - You already see most of my face anyway, so you can tell I'm talking, LOL.

Yeah, half helmet is a no go, I just totaled my bike and my face would of landed on the concrete in a half helmet lol ..I like my face soooo🤷🏼‍♂️😆. @@Setzerpendence Yeah, I don't care for my face LOL ... but you're right - half helmet makes it hard to vlog :D As for talking, I try my best, but I do end up throwing a lot of ride footage away. I forgot you're running the Hero 7, "The Remote" won't work with that... time for new cameras! Glad you got a sync trick, it's certainly harder to sync when you're starting and stopping recording while on the go [but still possible, as I've proven]. I used to use the "clap method" when I recorded the whole ride, but even with manual syncing, my new method works faster for me. Lastly, no, I didn't do well in school, but I find I can write pretty well :D

Voice overs is not mototvlogging, in my opinion. If you did it once in a blue moon because your audio crapped out, that is totally reasonable and understandable, but as a common practice, that is not a motovlog.
