Thanks for taking me back to remember being eight years old and being tickled to death, Rupert! Telling me that I've been doing this wrong is like re-reading a Shatki Gawain book in front of a table of crystals - I needed that. Yes I tried the various sounds. I was surprised at how easy it is to feel the different locations of vibration. The AUM in particular, caused the vibration to travel up from chest to head.

I am still trying to understand where is the science in this story of experiencing sensations beyond everyday life. definition of science should probably be revisited. Your body sensations don't prove a thing about reality or how nature functions.

The science is in measuring various indicators, like heart rate, blood pressure, hrv, skin conductence, sp02, respiration rate, eye movements, muscle tension, etc, WHILE they practice various sounds or mantras/meditations. You can observe a correlation between the practice and the response in the body and nervous system. It's only logical.
