Yeah, SCP 1000 is super interesting. They were like previous humans, and humans were like bigfoot, they thought we were a myth. Anyways they were so smart they could grow weapons that can literally wipe out everyone and wipe memories from the whole world. So humans stole the weapons and killed almost all of them. The humans then wiped their own memories (with the exception of a select few) and removed any trace of the bigfoot race. The reason SCP foundation is so protective is some of them are starting to show signs of intelligence and even get some memories back.

I like how not every single SCP is bad or dangerous. There were a few exceptions including the half cat Josie, and the teddy bear who makes organs out of fabric, and can replace them as functioning organs or even skin. But then again you have scps that are immortal, or ones that just need to be detained from the world so they don't cause chaos. And then you have extinction level scps. It's really confusing, but it's really good to get into, if you're in for all that kinds of things. I personally like the scps, and some are more terrifying than others, and some are just straight up interesting. Kind of like the water spirit that just exists in a water fountain, just wants to hang out with people. And then you have the undead crocodile, lizard thing, that becomes immune to whatever you tried to kill it with. It's intelligent you can talk to you, but it is murderous, and it has to be detained.

I think the "actual" SCP-001 is really SCP-184, which makes the inside of whatever structure it's inside to expand and become increasingly complex and confusing. They currently have it disguised as part of a statue in plain sight, so the only structure it has to expand is the universe itself. They sent an expedition to find the edge of the universe, and the further they got out the weirder everything got. All the galaxies and stuff were just copies of our own, including the solar system. They found hundreds of different versions of Earth, in one of which the entire continent of Australia was made of iodine or something. Jupiter was made of edible jelly in another version. I really like this one because it's not on the list of proposals, and (as with most 001 proposals) would add a MASSIVE revelation to the SCP canon by being the driving force behind the universe itself. IMO this one is probably the most credible for actually being true because they have a legitimate reason to hide it and it has more layers of security protecting knowledge of its nature. Just like SCP-184 is hidden in plain sight as part of its containment, SCP-001's true nature is hidden in plain sight as SCP-184.

Mild correction. Thaumiel is a containment class for SCP's that are actively used for the benifit of the Foundation. Appolyon is the class beyond Keter, for SCP's for which containment is utterly impossible.
