Yeah, they wouldn't be able to survive explosions, due to some things that occur during the explosions that those head plates wouldn't stop. The shockwave, and the crazy things that can occur from such. Those head plates likely couldn't stay in place, considering how they are connected to the body. Then joints as well make no sense as not being weak points as well on these creatures. Then that begs the question, how in the heck could they have survived entry into Earth's atmosphere, considering the physics in a multifaceted role there, on those head plates, that I'm certain wouldn't be able to be kept in place, and any gap, and I mean any gap would be death. Also consider how smaller little to no threat asteroids the size of them literally explode while entering the atmosphere, and cause shockwaves cause of it. The whole them surviving their planet's destruction, and Entry into the Atmosphere itself makes zero sense.

It’s so crazy to me that they wrote these death angels to be incredibly heavy but also lightning fast at the same time. Every car company in the world would laugh at that concept. Physics laughs at that concept. The fastest car in the world isn’t also going to be the heaviest car in the world. The math makes zero sense. If they don’t have the strength to swim because their armor just sinks them to the point of drowning, how are they able to move so fast with that armor? That’s why I have a hard time believing they have strength to carry this heavy armor at light speed but not the strength to swim with it.

I’m gonna create the most deadly apocalyptic alien. It’s basically going to be a Death Angel who has vision, can resist high frequency sounds, can swim and fly and is incredibly intelligent. Also can disappear and is immortal. And it’s length is the size of Godzilla, let’s just add that in there.

If no one has mentioned this before there was a super soldier invented for Stargate SG:1 that had and armor that was seen as indestructible. They everytually high tech a way that is just as nonsense as the armor itself, but for the first one taken out they point out that it doesn't matter what percent of kinetic energy is being absorbed the laws of physics cannot and will not be denied. Conservation is clear that energy will go somewhere and since there is just no way that what looks to be maybe 1 in thick chitinous armor can negate the amount of energy unleashed in explosive weapons. Also how do they drown in the first place they can survive space without suits but drown in water? How the fuck does that make sense? Magic bullshit creatures and nothing more.
