Hi Gift. As a community nurse, you may attend to patients in their own homes. You would also be responsible for assessing the suitability of their houses for their condition. Some patients, for example, may not be able to climb stairs due to their condition, you may assess that and provide appropriate feedback to the responsible authorities to have his needs fixed for him downstairs instead. You’ll more likely be patient’s advocate.
