I would recommend going 3 blocks higher than your road level(reference ground floor), especially if the building is in the south with high rain fall.

Can we have a detailed video as regards ground beam from architectural drawings, do you have to bring out all the partition walls as drawn in the floor plan in the foundation? Or strategic pick of walls to serves as ground beam

1. What's makes up the weak Concrete used for filling the hollow blocks? I want to know if it mixed with chippings then poured & filled up? 2. What is your take on the use of sharp sand to fill to do 100 percent filling Or the use of Latrite & sharp sand for 70:30 filling 70 = Latrite (below) 30 = sharp sand (on top)

Can you use Sharp Sand to fill your foundation or which Sand is the best to fill foundation or pit
@Emmanuel_Ejike Жыл бұрын
Sharpsand (or a combination of laterite and sharpsand) is the best filling material , especially for water logged site because of its good drainage properties and stability. Traditionally, laterite (red sand) is used since it is cheaper and because it offers stiffening advantage when dry. If your site is not a water logged, laterite should suffice.
