Thing is that some low tuned metalcore band doesn't even have bassist (Aviana is two guitars for eg, and yet, huge) 👀 This could be the subject of a future video : huge sounds without bass.

I think Joey uses a different microphone than before. Miami also uses a new microphone and he also sounds quite different.

both examples are same muddy and soapy, lowend boosted. guitar doubling bass is a bad move, and your songs are always one guitar riff (second guitar doubles the first, or sometimes simpliest solo when first does quints), no pauses, same tonality (0-0-0 style). bass should be different and have own melody moving over the guitars, own rhythm (pauses too) that just sometimes copies the main guitar riff notes to "return you back"

@@emiliano9321 mixing tip in this video - double 6 or 7 string of guitar to bass and volume it up, hit is ready. this what sounds in example, first one is volumed down bass. this is choice of artist that will be unwanted to be heard again. mixing skill of doubling, here guitars always monotonous and same notes both channels so they gave a tip to use different eq to both and even add di guitar signal to mix, skill is skill, noisy noise

@@emiliano9321 and title of this video is about GUITAR TONE, not about adding bass guitar to it. guitar should have enough self low frequencies and be memorable, bass just adds a variety to overall sound and make drums punchier. for guitar tone use decent pickups, wood and shape of guitar, hands make a special sounds too, choose distortion type and preamp of clean channel, then eq and compressor after all that, maybe buffer pedal should be used too instead of instrumental input of audio interface
