I had problem comprehending trading in general. I tried watching other YT trading channels, but they made the concepts more complicated. I was almost giving up until when I discovered your channel. I love the way you break down the content and explain everything in detail. The videos are easy to follow

I've been making a lot of losses trying to make profit trading. I thought trading on a demo account is just like trading the real market. Can anyone help me out or at least advise me on what to do?
@loganamber24508 сағат бұрын
Trading on a demo account can definitely feel similar to the real market, but there are some differences. It's important to remember that trading involves risks and it's normal to face losses sometimes. One piece of advice is to start small and gradually increase your investments as you gain more experience and confidence. It might also be helpful to seek guidance from experienced traders or do some research on different trading strategies.

I will advice you should stop trading on your own if you keep losing.
@davidrichard91508 сағат бұрын
If you can, then get a professional to trade for you I think that way your assets are more secure.

I struggle with my challenge. But I am calm the same time. I started a 10k challenge and I can afford it few more times a month. So I don’t mind to fail. That keeps me calm. My struggle come from my excitement to make the challenge. And not the fear of losing my last money. That would be terrible. It’s just the factor I waited for making a challenge 4 years. I wasn’t confidence enough to do. I know my strategy. I know my statistic. I will make it.

Good way to do practice Risk management is to use Demo Account or Paper Trade first before using a Live Account .
@sizwembatha2167Күн бұрын
A way to try and insure you only risk what you are okay with is: - Determine what you CAN lose on the account, i.e 4.9% in a challenge account that allows 5% Daily DD. - Do your evening/morning Price Action analysis, determine if the market will be high probability for the next trading day. - On the trading day, determine if your psychology is on "high probability", how are you feeling on the day, what kind of mental challenges do you foresee on the day? - Set an amount for the day within the initial 4.9% that you will be okay losing. If PA is high probability and you are also in a flow state maybe you say you risking 2% only for the day. If PA is low probability and you are not in flow state mentally maybe you will only risk 1%. - Now you know what you are willing to lose for the day, and you also have your "overtrade trigger" i.e if you are still scouting for entries after you breach that 2% or 1%, you are overtrading.
@sizwembatha2167Күн бұрын
Then, per trade you can slice and dice it however you want so long as you stick to the parameters you set for the day. i.e if your parameters are risk 1% for the day, on the day you can take 10 trades of 0.1% or 2 trades of 0.5%

For me I need to let the winners win. The losers lose but I have a habit of not trusting my analysis and closing winning trades early or moving SL to BE and getting stopped out when the original idea was actually spot on.
@Loe3212 күн бұрын
Moving sl to be is not bad habit, just let it run okay ..
@jana83632 күн бұрын
Same here. A rule could be move to BE at 1:1
@LuckyDogTrading2 күн бұрын
I trade NAS. I mine to BE quickly. Then to 10 points, then to 20, then trail tight. Apex challenges don't allow for loose SL.

I used to force myself to walk away, and come back to the results. As long as you are following your plan, and have your limits set, I would recommend occupying your mind with something else as your position runs

Traders who understand risk will not be losing 10% a month. If you look at hedge funds and what not (the people we should be looking to instead of influencers online), they will boast about not even losing net 10% across a year. I think like Jade says, social media has completely flipped what the concept of successful trading is.

I was reluctant to watch this video cause I thought this was going to be another basic video but everything you said is true. Having a job and savings makes trading easier. My execution’s improved dramatically after improving my external finances. Had to learn it myself but you’re confirming what I figured out over time.

I'd say atleast have 30k in your bank account to go full time trading, anything can go wrong, while you have 30k or more in your live account...when compounding it. buy challenges to scale in too...i believe in the skillset. Once you acquire it you can flip a $500 to $20000 within months depending on your risks and patience.

Absolutely agree with everything said here. A huge factor to my personal success in trading was having built a large savings and passive income to the point that I don't NEED trading. I can trade freely without the pressure of NEEDING it, and consequently I can execute trades without emotion. Because the reality, good trade opportunities look like RISK when they're a good opportunity, and when it no longer seems risky it's likely no longer a great opportunity. If you are FEARFUL about losing money that you really need, you will not be able to execute without emotion when there is opportunity, because the opportunity looks like RISK.
