I had an ex once who told me spouses aren’t supposed to be best friends. There were several red flags in that relationship, but my current fiancé told me he knew I was the one because I felt like his best friend from Day One, I was the one he wanted to call immediately with any good or bad news, small or big things. He looked forward to days of doing nothing together. As someone who watched her late parents be married for 50 years and were best friends first, I knew this love felt so real and healthy.

I loved this episode....I love the realness of Mrs. Henderson, a Husband and wife should be best best friends. After 19 years of marriage my ex husband left me for a married woman who he said he dated back when he was 19 years old and he's 56 now they were cheating for about 3 months before I found out. He filed for divorce to be with her and she filed for divorce and how divorce was just finalized March of this year. Closure is not needed, God told me to move forward . I was broken because I wanted my marriage and was willing to stay in it even knowing that he was seeing this married woman but he didn't. I pressed through the hurt, pain and rejection. God showed up at all of my pity parties while He was bringing me through it. Your beautiful wife is an example of relationship with God and not religion. People need to see realness.

My spouse will NEVER be my best friend because I woukd never have a desire to sleep with my best friend , if the 2 of us are 1 then already she is a part of me and she is no longer my friend, she is who I am. The 2 became 1. I have things I woukd talk to my best friend that I may not wanna talk to wife about ( nothing to hide ).there are just conversations i just dont wanna have with my wife. Especially if I'm speaking to men. So no!!!! She will never be my best friend and she understands that and because of Maturity she has no issues with it.
