Uber and Lyft initially claimed that they would take 25 percent of fares. They are now taking anywhere from half to three quarter. A passenger may pay $15 for say 5 miles and at the end of the trip, all I get is about $6 or $8. They take the majority. It is so sad. We have to service our own cars, deal with extremely rude passengers and the list goes on. Uber and Lyft must be blamed although Lyft is doing so much better. Their bonuses really looks good and go a far way. There is an ease driving for Lyft than for Uber.
