7:42 Yes, you are right. This point should be kept in mind most of time when editing, but there are some moments where you need to abruptly cut the music like you did here when you were quiet. For example, a comic moment when your character does some absurd action or something and you stop the music on that action. It adds more comic value to your cut. With that being said, you have very well explained what makes a good cut. Good job, well done, keep going🙌👍
