Altought this makes sense, on the other hand, when Vitani realised that Kiara was right and joined with Kovu and Kiara and others, Zira didn't hesitate at all for killing her own daughter for not wanting to fight. She might not always been evil, but she became pure evil. But it is weird that Zira seemed to be broken by Nuka's death.

I knew these were her real parents Kuzimu and Azola. Maybe Zira wasn’t as evil as we thought. You know I think Kuzimu only wanted a son, not a daughter, but he and Azola had a daughter anyway. After for what Kuzimu had put Zira through, I think he’s setting a very bad example for her. I mean, look what he’s done to her, not only is he training her to be a killer, he’s also abusing her. He’s been a bad father to her. Azola on the other hand was a good mother to Zira. I’m on Azola’s side.

When you think about it, this all started because Ahadi (Mufasa and Scar’s father) chose Mufasa as his heir if he hadn’t done that Scar probably wouldn’t have killed Mufasa which wouldn’t have caused Simba to overthrow Scar and get him killed by either the hyenas or Hercules, which wouldn’t have caused Zira to kill Kopa (Simba’s son) which wouldn’t have caused her or her family to be exiled from the pridelands, which also wouldn’t have caused Nuka’s death which wouldn’t have started the war between the outsiders and Pridelanders, so when you think about it, Ahadi may be the true villain of the Lion King
