Oh my gosh! I have never heard this band before, and I want more! What a fantastic young group. I love seeing these young groups taking their place on the world stage. I agree about the Janis Joplin rasp. She was one of my favorite performers way back in the day and I remember being devastated when she died. (yes, I am that old). I just have to say that I absolutely loved your reaction, and they joy on your face as you listened to this group. It made me smile, and for that I thank you.

Maria, thanks for reacting to Liliac again. I'm happily subscribed. Note many in the band are wearing costumes with white stripes in them, harkening back to the White Stripes band who originated this song....another clever detail. PLEASE react to the Liliac version of the Janis Joplin hit "Piece o' My Heart." I think you'll love it. It dramatically showcases Melody's vocal mastery. Keep up these great reactions!

I suggest you start with their earlier stuff first, and funny Melody reminds you of Janis Joplin,, their live from Cumming Georgia covering "Piece of my Heart" by Janis is Phenomenal. It gives you a real feel of what they sound like live. One of their first covers that grabbed me good was "Holy Diver" by Dio

I see others have mentioned their performance of Piece of My Heart, live in Cumming, GA. From that same concert also check out Mars, it starts with an amazing guitar solo by Sam. Melody sometimes reminds me a little of Joan Jett, they covered I Hate Myself for Loving you, it’s also definitely worth a reaction. You mentioned All the Monsters are Dead. The only video I could find is live from the Blue Note, but it appears it was recorded by a fan using a cellphone and the audio and video quality isn’t the best. ❤️🦇 Recommendations older covers; The Trooper, Symphony of Destruction, Holy Diver, Last in Line, Piece of My Heart, I Hate Myself for Loving You. Don't do Monsters Are Dead yet. You need to go back and listen to some of their older music first. Piece of My Heart is a good choice. Crazy Train, Holy Diver or The Trooper for covers. Dancing in the Dark, Nothing, We Are the Children or Mars (Live in Cumming, GA) for their originals.

The set and costumes for this video are a tribute to the Whitestripes original music video, but so much better in every way, as is their version of the original song and the best by far of any of the numerous covers that I've heard . This was shot in their basement recording studio and cost a whopping $500 ,not bad for a bunch of kids . If you are into guitars and the masterly playing of the instrument then react to their original song MARS from a live gig in Cumming Georgia, it will give you an insight into what pure string magic can look like . MONSTERS ARE DEAD is a fangtastic song but it's audio only and you really should wait as there's been hints that Liliac will release a video of it soon , in the meantime pick any of their original or tribute covers from their extensive playlist there's not a dud among them .
