It really is a shame that they cut victarion from the show, because he is probably one of my favorite parts of A Feast for Crows. He's a big dingus, but he's also probably the most relatable Greyjoy.

F Aden compared to the book Euron is pretty boring. He was a monster in the books, the Aeron sample chapter for winds of winter was bananas! Ends up he killed three of his brothers. Molested his other brothers, and possibly Theon as well. He boast about it to other Iron Born in order to humiliate Aeron, who he has captive. He also tortures other priest and mages who he eventually straps to the front of different ships. He makes The Mountain seem like a nice bloke.

Reason why they changed Asha to Yara in show was to make it clearer so people wouldn't mix up Osha and Asha. In the show Osha got bigger role because they liked work of the actress so when Asha was introduced later her name was changed just to keep it easier to understand who is talked about.

Theon Chapters are good but Asha and Aeron totally suck. I agree with "whycreate" that Euron is very intriguing and perfect villian but TV show's one is trash probably because of Actor or just a screenplay, Mads would be a perfekt Euron, also D&D cut and ruined many storylines (Dorne, Greyjoys, Young Griff, Horns etc.) Books are far better than TV show and we are talking about HBO just imagine what GoT would be like if Showtime or AMC do it ;)

I felt the same way at first while reading AFFC. That book as a whole is a little slower compared to the others, but by the time your done ADWD and some sample chapters from TWOW, I'm sure Victarion and Euron will be some of your favourites.
