Very good; much more clean than my version. Nice job. This one's a toughie.

Thanks. I do have a POD HD500, but this recording was made with a Digitech GNX3000.

@davidorbachmusic Thanks for listening. The cello score does not have bass notes. The bass notes that you see in your classical guitar score are not Bach's, they've been added by the (guitarist) author of whichever version you have. There are actually two false notes in there... good ear for catching one of them!

Thanks PRODIGYat43 - that arpeggiated section is the hardest thing in the whole piece. I've looked at it lots of different ways... even tapping. The challenge is that if you let it ring out with a high gain tone it sounds muddy. I just need to make that section cleaner and more connected.

Not sure if it's possible but when you hit the section at 1:43 I wonder if you could play the melody notes further up the fingerboard so the pedal tone and melody tones would fit together more seamlessly? Otherwise, I play it on classical guitar but I really enjoyed your performance

Is the chirp Im hearing from ur pick? Is it intentional? Not baggin on ya.... honest question. I tried a big stubby.... loved it.... minus that damn chirp..... haha.... curious of some people find it pleasurable like diff playing styles and such. Cheers....

@francsi1989 This is a cello suite so there's only one line (implied counterpoint) as opposed to the lute suites where there are multiple contrapuntal lines. The arrangement is my own and I do have a tab in a Power Tab document (free to download). PM me your email address and I'll send it to you.

Yeah, that's the hardest part in the whole piece. I've looked at it every which way, and if you're not finger picking it's just really hard. I originally thought that there would be some cool way to do a two handed tapping thing and make it flow, but the intervals are so wide that I couldn't figure anything out. If you've got any ideas I'd love to hear them. :)

WhyISuckAtGuitar.com Hi sir I have recorded this for electric guitar as well, but a clean family friendly version. Check it out on my channel and perhaps my approach will help yours. I’ve transcribed it to E however. Best wishes.

@brettbed Just found two wrong notes... (sigh)... that's what I get for not looking at the score enough.

sorry for the question.. do you have tabs for the melody? or took the main line from the partitures and adapted it for yourself?

he literally said it above

OK... if you're going to give a thumbs down... at least explain yourself. What didn't you like?

@brettbed These days I find the opposite to be true for me. Left hand alone fixes most of my problems.

There are no bass. On the score it is written with the bass. But this is not the same instrument than a classical guitar. At 2.25, there is a false note. Anyway good luck!
