Hi Chris, I've just finished your 40 part series and just wanted to pass on a huge thank you for everything I've learnt in the process. This is the best Logic Pro X training I've ever undertaken by a country mile! You strike just the right balance of encouragement for the newbie and introduction to the complexity that lies deeper in the program. Truly outstanding work - thanks again! Jon

I had to skip forward to get this gold on exporting my project. Thank you so very much for this course Chris! Man, are you the only instructor on KZbin who keeps their teachings simple? I seriously have not ran into any vids on anything that are even close to your level of teaching. This is excellence at work here people.

Hi Chris, Just wanted to say a big thank you for this wonderful series. I've followed the channel for a while, and while not a complete beginner to Logic Pro, I realised how much I didn't know, by following this series from the beginning, right through to #40, making copious notes all the way - 24 double sides of A4 in total! Invaluable. Take care. 😎

Thanks, Chris, for this very helpful intro to Logic series. I was definitely overwhelmed by the thousands of pages to read in the various Logic manuals (user/instrument/effects guides from Apple) and this series provided a much more efficient way to learn essential information to be able to start working effectively with the software. Much appreciated! I will definitely turn to your channel/website for Logic-related questions and tutorials in the future.

Chris - This was a great series of videos. Thank you for all the work you did to create them. I've been using Logic for a few years, and in your series of videos I learned a lot. My projects are now much better quality and more fun to create. I took notes on each video and organized the information into the categories of "Organizing", "Creating", "Editing", and "Working Efficiently". New things I learned in each category from your videos are shown below. ORGANIZING Project Alternatives and backups Track Alternatives Arrangement Markers Track Stacks Coloring Tracks and Regions Adding Project and Track Notes Automatic backups Consolidate and Clean Up CREATING MIDI Brush Tool Step Sequencer Quick Sampler Drum Machine Designer MIDI Effects Bouncing and Sharing Setting up and using sends, busses, and auxes EDITING Quick Swipe Comping Smart Controls Time Quantizing Scale Quantizing Flex Time Flex Pitch Automation Trimming Tool Bar WORKING EFFICIENTLY Auto Zoom Click and Command-Click Options Click Zones

Thanks for creating this series. I started with Emagic i think it was 1998 to 2002. I work with logic everyday but forget stuff if i don't use it all the time. Part of the problem! im old school and dont like automation apart from volume fader rides and some simple tricks. So when i get a project i need to take a deep dive im always checking out your videos. I mainly work on my own stuff so im only hurting my self.

This is great! Did you cover how to share stems in correct time in any other video? For some reason when I bounce in time it doesn’t actually insert silence at the beginning. The person who gets my track needs to be able to drag the stems in and they automatically be in time.

Would you be able to do an in-depth on the Environment? I feel like no one is talking about this, and really missing out on the expandability of Logic.

Have saved this whole playlist!! Question - can you redo a video on strings (not the ones that use the sampler - Studio? Sorry not at my computer). I was working on a piece with a cello and the transition from one key to the next was so apparent and different that even in a mix the tone was drastically different. Is it articulation? Just the stock instrument?

Hey Chris i need your help on a Logic Pro X glitch if possible: I'm bouncing tracks down to MP3s and im getting this weird warbled sound as if the audio is corrupted. It sounds like a bad phone reception. When i bounce to Wav...its fine, I've never had this problem before and its hardly anything on the session so it isnt a cpu issue. (i tried it w another session w like 5 dry sounds on it and the same thing happened.). I even updated my OS and updated my Logic and this same glitch is happening. All of my settings are defaulted as well. Any help would be amazing. Plz and Thanks.

Not sure I understand. You set the end to bar 5, but the first couple of files end just after bar 4.

I am looking for an alternative for "freezing aux tracks" in logic pro. I know you can freeze audio and instrument tracks in logic. with that you can use 3rd party plugins, freeze the track and open the session on a different computer which doesn't have that 3rd party plugin installed. You can't do that with aux-tracks tho... which leads to "missing plugin"-messages when opening up the session and not having that 3rd party reverb or delay it is missing. Is there some smooth way to get around this or is the only way to bounce all aux-tracks to an "effect-track"? But the problem still exists if you do that. Because in an ideal case, even if you bounced the effect-track, you still want to be able to backtrack the settings. So if you leave the aux tracks on the project, even after said bounce, you'll get the error message. Anyone here got an idea?
