My thoughts on posting only your 1st lap with no commentary. I’ve been a subscriber for about a year now. In fact, I started watching your vids after deciding to dabble in racing myself. I personally find your narration helpful. It’s difficult to really get a feel for the terrain just by watching the video. I GoPro all my races and have found after reviewing the footage sections that were nar in real life look flat on screen. I like your comments about line selection, approach, techniques. I’ve found it helpful. Thanks for all your hard work putting these together.

Thanks for your feedback. I think you’re right. I’m also glad you find the commentary helpful. I am surprised by how many people tell me that. I intend to criticize myself, but so many of us make the same mistakes that I think there is a benefit for many racers that are still learning.

Great video. I have broken a lot of bones but I think breaking toes seemed to creep me out the most for some reason. Congratulations on getting first.

Suspension set up difference between your bike?

Yes, for one the new bike has the AER forks and a linkage rear. I’m really happy with the suspension, but that creek did not feel comfortable. It is probably more me that the suspension.
