@ob19344 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the method! I also have a way to learn how to draw faces and it's relatively easy. Before I start telling you guys what it is I'm just going to disclaim that this is more suited towards digital art. Ok so let's begin. First look up regular people on google, go to images, then download one image of a person. Next open up that image in krita, photoshop or whatever software you use. Ok so now you want to "trace" (I used the quotes because it's not exactly tracing imo) and draw over it using basic shapes so that you can conceptualize in your mind how to draw faces. Once your done drawing these basic shapes over this person you are not finished however. Now after you have done this try and draw that person with the basic shapes you used but no tracing this time! This is help you grow. Your drawing or should I say re-drawing might suck at first but keep going. Once you get good at it you can even change the pose of the person that your drawing and add details. Keep doing this with different images of different people and I promise you will improve! :D (I'm sorry if this guide sucks I'm terrible at teaching stuff lol)

I'm so jealous of people like this guy. Their art is so effortless and natural, it basically just happens by itself. Some people have so much talent, whether they're born with it or earned it, but I can't seem to get better at anything, especially the things I love (like art). I've been drawing for as long as I can even remember, but I'm still terrible at it. It doesn't matter what techniques I learn, who I study, or how much I practice, I Never. Get. Better. No matter what I do, I can't put on paper what I want and it absolutely kills me. How do you guys do it???
@actuallyharuto23823 жыл бұрын
hey man i have the same problem too, im trying to learn art for my novel im working on and honestly i feel the same the way as you do, i've never been good at art but never getting better is never a step back sometimes u just have stop, think, and do the things you learned all over again until u are satisfied, its never been how people do it its how you are committed and having fun doing it, for me even though i have a lot of mistakes trying to make art acceptable to my liking i still think im progressing because i have a pen, a paper and a bunch of mistakes right in front of me and that keeps me motivated to keep progressing and get better no matter how many times it takes, just take a look of your work man and look how much you've progressed from the start and the way you make art right now, the things you feel right now isnt the end of your progress because it never has been.
@krismilstead41073 жыл бұрын
@@actuallyharuto2382 Thanks for the reply, I didn’t expect anyone to read this. I mean the reason I’ve always done art is because it’s just something I enjoy, and it’s the reason I still do. There’s so much I want to do artistically but I constantly find myself limited by my own lack of talent. It won’t ever keep me from continuing art, simply because I love it, but it’s still really discouraging to be as bad at art as I am even after all these years of practice. Granted, I’m better than I was when I was really young, but I still don’t come anywhere near to the hoardes of people I see all the time who are essentially born talented. I do my best not to compare myself to others, but this is something I care about, a way I want to express myself. When so many people around me so easily have what I’ve been pursuing so hard for for so long, it simply doesn’t feel fair. Anyway, I appreciate the encouragement and I hope you get better as well.

hey, i know this is gonna be unrelated a bit, but watching this video kinda helped with my mental issues. after i realized how i couldn't draw at all i started yelling at myself for how bad i am at everything, and just let it all out. it took a lot of stress out of my system and was one of my most emotional times ever. instead of building up my insecurities i just let them all out, i've never felt this relaxed before in my life. while i still don't know how to draw, i do know that just expressing my emotions helps with my insecurities, even if it's just me yelling in an empty room at 3 am

We loved this, and drew one while watching the tutorial and then had a go without it running. Really pleased with the results!

Thanks man, I draw all the time and for some reason I always mess up my head shapes then it throws off my entire sketch. I really needed this so thank you again!

Completely new to drawing myself but find your videos really good to watch. Unfortunately I'm an absolute potato when it comes to it at the moment but I feel like your videos are definitely helping me. Keep them coming man.
