But what if I want to rank only specific workers and not all of them? In Excel you can select specific cells and separate them with ; but imported into google sheets it causes an error. How can I solve that problem? How to make this work in Google Sheets: =RANK(D2,(D2;D4;D5;D7),1) for example?

Usually I have a different metric that would act as a tie breaker.

How to get name of rank holder. For example, Wing had best accuracy so when I rank him 1, in next column I want to have name of the rank holders. How to do that?
