Put some oil filled shocks on it then take it for a nice ride. And then when you're done testing out the shocks put a nice set of MJX hyper go tires on it and then take it for a spin with the new shocks and the new tires I think you'll really like it.😊

Man, i fell for the same car! I paid $50, i might take it back. I figured i could at least use the motor and esc/controller in my brushed hypergo when it breaks but its not even the motor they said it is!

My pleasure… I’ve been having fun with it but I would consider hosim’s 1/16 brushed rc from Amazon. It’s the one with the gps function in it. It has 2 body shells, metal drivetrain, oil shocks and it’s the same exact platform as all the popular new brushless versions from deerc h16e, hosim mew 4, and Bezgar hp162s so it’s easy to upgrade to brushless for a newer person to the hobby. OH ITS $50 WITH A 10% COUPON off Amazon. They’re doing a clearance. I actually got it for $32 two days ago. I plan on posting something about in the next few days. Lastly the deerc h16r is a brushless 1/16 for $85. I believe the rc’s I’ve just listed are better value in the long term. Regardless. It sounds like your son’s gonna have a great Xmas. I bought 2 cars... I put orings in the shocks and added oil. I have a blast with my family and kids with these. I paid 140 for the 2 cars...haven't had a bad encounter yet..

Awesome. It’s good to hear you’re able to take advantage of such a good deal. I’ve been toying around with the idea of upgrading the esc and transmitter so I can have a gyro and all the adjustable sliders

Man I just bought this for my son today for Christmas after doing about a week of research I came across this today basically a hyper go copy brushless with the oil shocks and what not and saw the 79.99 so I jumped on it But this video is making me rethink my purchase 😢

I think it’s a decent rc for the price. Your son will most definitely have a smile on his face when he drives it. I would recommend gorilla tape on the body before your first run. I personally don’t regret purchasing it. I think your good. Happy holidays

I did end up cancelling the order but in place of the Tenspeed I ended up grabbing the Bezgar HM161 truck as well as the Bezgar HM162 truggy with the cyber Monday deals I got both for 20ish more than the tenspeed not as powerful but for a beginner Into RC figured they would be great for him and 2 presents rather than one 🎄🎁

Believe you are correct about the gearing. Chinese manufacturers don't do much testing 😢 before they release a product like the bigger brands do.

Friction shocks aren’t bad unless your doing alot of jumping. Arrma slipped on this one they better redesign a 1/16 and shake up the game.

I’m no marketing expert but if I was Arrma I would attack the 1/16th scene before any other scale size. Maybe do a 1/16th granite, outcast, and vortex. Then I would attack the 1/14th with a 1/14th typhon and senton. If Arrma really wanted to get gangster they could do a 1/14th infraction and go head to head with the Mjx 14301. But as ezell said in Friday after he slipped on the bodega floor “I’ll settle out of court for a 1/18th”🫤

My daughter actually bought me one of these for xmas. I dont know who to email. But the front lower control arm i think is bent. Somehow. Its also kind of a bummer not knowing the control protocol to use it with a multi module. The stock tx sucks. Its really bad.

Dang that sucks. I think the Bezgar and laegendary sonic 1/16 rc cars share the same platform. I haven’t had to replace anything yet on mine so I can’t confirm but the arms look the same. Good luck

But you can get a good MJX hyper good for less than 100. Just pay a little extra more and you got a lot better quality in the shocks the tires and not sure what else but at least you're getting an MJX brand. So no I wouldn't pay $75 for this unit. Maybe if I needed one to bash around and not worry about maybe yeah

Any recommendations on tire sponges? I bought this one, changed driving gear ($24, after 10 times, it lost most of the teeth and no longer moving), added shock oil($6) and now trying to add some sponges.

Unfortunately I don’t have any recommendations. If you look for replacement tires for the Hosim mew4 or the DEERC h16e they are good tires and I’m pretty sure have foam in them. Sorry I can’t help more. Honestly im still pretty new to the hobby ✌🏼

Hi. To be honest I’m not sure. Im still new to the hobby and don’t have a temperature reader. The stock motor doesn’t even have a heat sink. Plus the battery tray is so small I’ve only run 2s.🤔 you got me wanting to squeeze a 3s pack in there somewhere

I have six hyper goes and the exact same body one that you got and I have oil filled shocks and mine don't sound like that your sounds like crap. I love my hyper goes. Maybe you got a lemon or something. That definitely does not sound like a nice smooth running hyper go. And if you don't have oil filled shocks you got ripped.😮😮😮😮 And also mine came with a 4,200 KV motor. Put a 3S battery in it and you will really like it. You'll hit 40 mph on a 3S battery.

do you know what replacement part I could get for the drive shaft gearing or the whole;e drive shaft mine came with some issues and over half of the teeth of the big gear that hooks up with the motor came all chewed and messed up do you have the size for it

I’m sorry but I haven’t looked for part yet. At first glance it looks like the same platform as the laegendary sonic 1/16 brushless rc. I’m almost positive the arms and chassis are the same. Maybe the gears are too. Bezgar also ha# a car using this platform I think it the hm164. I would type those two into a search engine like Amazon. Good luck

look at replacement parts for the "hyper go h16bm" they are literally the same thing but the hyper go has all the support for replacement parts

Unfortunately no. I honestly never considered it. It seems to have a 60amp esc. I bet it could.

That's not a hyper go chassis not sure what that is. I got the same body as you have the black body and my chassis is totally different. My chassis is honeycombed and it's a 45 amp ESC. With oil filled shocks and a 4200 KV motor 2845.

You absolutely right. it ain’t a hyper go. Check out the end of the video. I show that it shares a chassis with the 1/16 legendary sonic and the bezgar hm164.
