i remember ordering some of these especially the stomper with my pocket money from the Warhammer/ Citadel troll catalogue thingy around 97, because i couldn't afford the 40k versions or anything really. I tried to play my friends with the epic scale versions to little success. It may have been my first interaction from "landline" with a grownup i didn't know.

There were ork sprues with that battlewagon on them in the 1991 Space Marine 2nd edition box, but they were first released in 1989 for the 1st edition, as a box called Ork Horde. Rules for Orks and Eldar in 1st edition Epic were published in White Dwarf and in the Codex Titanicus supplement.

Obligatory fun fact: the Kzinti in the animated series wore pink because the director was partially colourblind.
