Good morning B high & Wicked, I appreciate it you’ll speaking on our legends. John Amos was everything to us growing up. Our father was in the household & he didn’t play either. I’m 56 years old & to this day my siblings and I still watch goodtimes. It was definitely life lessons on the show as well. They talked about high blood pressure, teen pregnancy, alcohol and drug addiction, making right decisions etc… yes he fought the good fight against Norman Lear. John Amos told the story how Norman Lear called him & said I have some good news & some bad news which one do you want first & John Amos said it’s your dime & Norman Lear said the show will continue, but without you & that was the end of the conversation & they never spoke again. John Amos went on to bigger & better things. God bless ❤🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾 we love you & are thankful that you were able to show what we already knew about our black men. They are husbands, fathers etc… hard workers. I know that’s what I saw growing up & I see it in my brothers as well. 💪🏾❤️🙏🏾
