The last time we had a city divided like this was Kilo Ali versus Sammy Sam The Hitman. Once the beefs stopped, and the city represented AS A WHOLE, we started winning and never looked back. Other podcasts are always envious of how Atlanta artists work together. Don't let a SONG take us backwards.

He tried making feeble points about "culture and pride" being relevant but danced around Wicked's point about the same problems, the same experiences, the cultures being very similar. Wicked is right and the same stuff happens in the city i'm from...it's absolutely ridiculous... and the song was made to be petty.

I grew up in both Zone 1 & Zone 4, attended APS schools, graduated from B.E. Mays. I went to college in Florida. Over 99% of the people I’ve met while living in FL repping Atlanta ain’t from Atlanta. 😂 They ask me where I’m from, I tell them West Side & SWATS. They look at me like I’m crazy. The ask me to name a street. I tell them West Lake Ave & MLK by West Lake train station or Campbellton road & Delowe to give them a general sense and they look at me like a deer caught in headlights. They then tell me, “Oh you’re from Atlanta, Atlanta” I ask them where they’re from and they name every other city in the metro area 😂 get outside 285, go to another state, and you’ll find a bunch of folk repping the A but never actually set foot there. So, I appreciate Omeretta calling folk out

This is the same mindset New York City had which was one cause of their demise, sticking together as a whole is the key. New York big ups Atlanta for being together with each other and the rest of the South and that’s the reason they have been winning for the past almost 20 years.

I find this argument interesting and, somewhat, ridiculous. I was born in Tarrytown, NY. NYC people called it upstate, being just 12 miles north of the Bronx. I then moved to NJ, 25 miles west of Manhattan, and you would have thought I had moved to another country, according to New Yorkers. I then moved back to Queens, and that NYC borough was often berated and looked down upon by other boroughs, especially Brooklyn. As an adult, I left NY for Atlanta and bought a home in Stone Mtn/Decatur (walking distance from Indian Creek MARTA station). I've always considered the greater Atlanta metro as one place. Being a transplant, I've lived and traveled all over the metro without considering any differences. I've always identified myself as living in Atlanta, period. Another case in point, two of my neices were born at Grady and immediately came home to Stone Mtn/Decatur from the hospital. While my sons went to Redan HS, their younger sister was re-zoned to Clarkston HS. The two neices that were born at Grady voluntarily attended and graduated from Columba HS. I said all this to say that the "Sorry, not sorry" argument is irrelevant competition that, at the end of the day, means nothing. Sometimes, it seems like our people will find any reason to attempt to "one up" each other when we should be laser focused on unity and lifting one another up. Just my opinion.

Not from Atlanta but it's the same debate for Dallas/Fort Wort and the surrounding areas 😂. I listen to a lot of artist from GA and I always hear them rep their precise location . I also hear a lot of artist from outside the A claim they make moves inside the A but only the natives know what's really going on. Much love to B and Mr. Geto Mafia himself 😂 And O too because regardless of what's Atlanta or not the song is fire. She need to do a NOT ATL remix and let everyone get they shine on
