It was visually well done, and it was well cast. I had my doubts, but they both sold me. The problem with Wicked the movie is the same problem with Wicked the Broadway musical. There are only 3 good songs in it. It is dreadfully long, and you find yourself just waiting for the good ones. (you'll only get 2 in part 1) It does not "fly by." It's the draggiest movie of all time.

**Spoilers** My sister and I went to see it yesterday. We said the movie's budget budgeted. Lol the sets, costumes, and everything is really great. She went on and on about the choreography and singing. I'm not going to lie, I got bored a couple of times but got back into it. I did get emotional during the dance scene because Elffie was nice enough to still help Gah-Linda even though they weren't getting along with the training and then Gah-Linda got a little redeemed with me with them two dancing together. I'm upset about the animals. I'm upset the Wizard made her do that to the monkeys. My sister and I were talking about part two and I think it's going to be some what of a remake to wizard of oz. I told her to that Nessa, Elffie's sister, is also the sister that gets the house thrown on her in the Wizard of Oz and Amy is upset...that they would do that...And she now hates Dorothy too lmao so...I thought it was pretty good but not like listening to the soundtrack on the way home...good...If that makes sense.

Idk if I’ll watch the original show just so I can still go in blind to part 2, but it does add a fun extra layer to The Wizard of Oz. I’ll have to rewatch that before the next part releases. It’s been years.
