How this video has less than 500 views after 3 weeks baffles me. This is a real talk! Thank you guys!!

I can assure Mr. Wells that the music sounds INCREDIBLE. I'm thrilled that they hewed so closely to the original arrangements but beefed them up with a huge orchestra.

I was googling who played the drums on the soundtrack and when I found Greg's name in the credits, I was blown away that he did sooo much more than just track the amazing drum performances. Subsequently did a youtube search of his name, hoping to find footage of him playing, and ended up watching this whole interview instead. Greg is a very unique musician, and well spoken in his stories and explanations! Great questions on your end too, Zak 🙌🏼

what strikes me the most, is how EVERY SINGLE person involved in this project is SO passionate about it... the dedication each one put into this is what made this movie so perfect, and the success it is... really inspiring hearing they talk about their art

The bass slides he talks about around 1:10:40 - never noticed before, like he said! They sound awesome.

Interesting to hear the metal background. Since I first heard this score and the drum sound (Defying Gravity especially) I thought it sounded like the massiveness of Metallica’s S&M 😂

I’m a huge fan of Greg Wells and hearing the level of his contribution to this only adds to my respect for him. I just watched the film today. In the theatre I saw it in, the balance between the voices and music was so off. The voices were very dry and very out front, therefore exposing the extreme autotune (I guess that’s to be expected these days) the 2 lead voices phasing sometimes when singing the same note, because they were tuned so exactly. The band and orchestra were so in the background, completely disempowering them. It really spoilt it for me. I’m guessing this was an imbalance in the speakers in the theatre.
