Heist movies, a classic genre with films going as far back as the 1950s. And in the modern era, plenty are still made. Ocean’s Eleven, Baby Driver, Heat, Reservoir Dogs, Six Underground… Heists never go out of style. One of the most important things about these movies is the crew who make up the main cast. Even parodies of heist movies know this is important, which led us to ask an age-old question. Which Disney Villains would work best to pull off a massive heist? That’s what we’re going to figure out today.

Hades. For every role. He can pretty much do it all. The Brains: He spent 18 years setting up a plot to overthrow Zeus and take over Mt. Olympus. The Safecracker: He won't just crack the safe. He'll melt it, detonate it, or just teleport into the vault. The Hacker: Same reasons for The Safecracker. Master of Disguise: Being a Greek god, he can take on whatever physical form he needs. The Muscle: He's a god. The Gunman: He can shoot fire from his hands, he can't die and he's the god of the underworld, so he pretty much negates the death aspect of weaponry. The Driver: He can teleport anywhere and I'm pretty sure he can do the same with anyone or anything. The Wildcard: WE WERE SO CLOSE!!!!!

The mere fact that these villains form a heist group would suggest the heroes would have done it too, but of course for public safety.

with the dr. Facilier, you can also argue that his shadow can be manipulated into the the safes locking mechanism meaning he can even take it down without ever having to touch the safe and therefore leave no identifying fingerprints.

Honestly, I’m kind of shocked Gaston wasn’t brought back into consideration for gunner. I mean, he was shown as a great marksman, possibly even more than Clayton with “all of his decorating.” And with his charisma, he could probably talk his way through a building across the street to set up a good vantage point.

The only things I could see going wrong are: 1. Cruella’s anger getting the better of her, causing her to crash her car. (Granted unless I’m misremembering the movie, said crash doesn’t kill her.) 2. Chernobog doesn’t see where he could fit into this heist. (After what would a demonic being need money for?)

Who said the target of the heist is money? If this multiverse existed, then perhaps the goal is granting/obtaining the ability of power for control of each member their own universe to rule over/control. (Basically each member gets a universe to be master over).

Very fair. Perhaps Cruella should not be part of the heist at all. But if she had to.... she could be part of the intelligence planning. Let's be honest, her diabolical puppy-napping plan would've worked if not for hyper intelligent animals rescuing them. The same goes for Hades, who's plan would've worked if his minions weren't incompetent.

I think a better option for the disguiser would be Madam Mim. She is the witch from The Sword in the Stone. She turns into many animals, from harmless to deadly, and all on the fly while she fights Merlin.

Chernobog has a few hold backs, he can only appear once a year and only at night, he would probably just do the whole mission himself, and we don’t know if he ever leaves bald mountain. And he might not be vary trustworthy, if we might believe that he is the leader of almost every Disney major villain.

I feel that Maleficent, while not ideal for the "disguise" role, would be PERFECT as the Wild Card. She's smart, knows lots of magic and curses, and can turn into a dragon in a pinch.

Highly likely that the heist was more about drawing attention away from the massive Chernabog pulling apart a building to grab the loot than any sort of high-stress sneakery.

And the fact that he goes to conquer China with an army, loses the army due to unorthodox tactics, and still manages to infiltrate the city, kidnap the emperor, secure the palace, and almost kill the emperor with only his handful of trusted men. His downfall was unorthodox tactics (again) via Mulan, and he didn't expect a dragon with a massive firework rocket to shoot him into a tower of fireworks. It was also shown that Shan Yu could outclass Shang when it came to combat, physical strength, and swordplay, which is troubling since Shang was shown to be the best warrior/fighter Mulans group had when it came to normal fighting and combat. If Shang couldn't beat Shan Yu in a stand up fight, I don't think Mulan would have succeeded without the firework plan and Mushu. In short, Shan Yu has a good chance of being a viable leader (coping with failure and salvaging a mission) the muscle (explained in the video) disguise (aside from using the dragon inside of the city, he and his men had to enter the city and obtain the dragon without being discovered during a celebration where missing performers would be extremely suspicious and there were hundreds of spectators, not to mention Shan Yu getting on the palace roof undetected) and even as a distraction (had his hawk steal his sword and deliver it to him, revealing himself on the roof so everyone would focus on him, giving his men in the dragon a chance to catch the soldiers off guard, quickly overwhelm Shang, and barricade themselves inside of the palace)

Easy. Rourke - Promise him a large sum of money. Facilier - Help him settle his debt with the friends on the other side and help him take over New Orleans. Turbo - Upgrade him with the latest hacker and virus technology to help him take over any video games he wants. Jafar - Promise to help him take over Agraba and kill Aladdin. Shan-Yu - Help him take over China. Clayton - Kill Tarzan and give him a huge amount of cash. Cruella - Skin the dalmations and make them into a fur coat for her and pay her cash too. Chernabog - He'll probably get a kick out of the chaos and destruction of the place they're robbing.

The Gunman spot should've gone to Percival C. McLeach, from The Rescuers Down Under. He's an expert hunter with substantial firearms experience, just like Clayton. But he's much smarter and more levelheaded than Clayton, and far less prone to villainous hubris. He is also probably a better shot, since we never see Clayton cutting a rope by shooting it. Also, he can throw knives if he runs out of bullets. Edit: Also, you know who probably should've at least been CONSIDERED for the Mastermind/Brains role? Professor Ratigan, arguably the ONLY Disney villain actually KNOWN to have planned MULTIPLE successful heists! (I'm not certain whether Alameda Slim's cattle-rustling, Rourke's grave-robbing expeditions, Gothel's baby-kidnapping, etc., qualify as "heists" in the traditional sense.) Also, he shows a meticulous level of detail when it comes to planning ahead that almost no other Disney villain can match. Dawn Bellwether also probably deserves an honorable mention in that category. She's at least smarter than Lady Tremaine, and she has more subtlety and is less prone to biting off more than she can chew than Rourke.

Shan Yu is actually Intelligent. Sure, I get the muscle, but the scene with the doll, where he throws it to his men and ask what do you see, he test is their loyalty, and after one soldier states they could avoid the imperial army, he points out the quickest way to the emperor is through the Tung Shao Pass, and then tells his men that they should return the doll to the little girl. That same doll is found under the rubble of the destroyed village and the soldiers dead corpses. Shan Yu is incredibly intelligent for a war leader. Shan Yu fits into the muscle category, but he also should fit into the brains category.

That's what I was thinking! I still think Rourke IS a good pick, just because of how well his team worked under his leadership(and they were sorta pulling off a heist in their movie), but Shan Yu, in addition to being the Muscle, should also be either second-in-command or co-leader. After all, his army was a very effective and well-trained fighting force. That speaks to his leadership skills.

Namaari is NOT a villain! Villain implies the character is evil, she is simply an antagonist, which just means she is against the protagonist. For context, if a comic or something was written from Joker's perspective, he is the protagonist and Batman is the antagonist, though Joker is still the villain and Batman the hero. I was thinking, if the main characters from "The Loud House" were to form their own heist crew, here are who I think would fill the specific roles: The Brains = Lincoln, since he's "The Man With the Plan" The Safecracker = Leni, because of her lock-picking skills The Hacker = Lisa, being the most intelligent and the most tech-savvy The Master of Disguise = Lola, because like Leni, she's a fashionista The Muscle = Lynn, since she's the most athletic, the strongest, and the most aggressive of the family The Gunman = Luna, because despite being more of a rocker, she's handled different firearms like water guns, dart guns, laser tag guns, and a doughnut cannon The Driver = Lori, since despite moving away to college, she was the one the siblings relied on to get them somewhere fast The Wild Card = Luan, because of her pranking skills, along with the fact that she's also a skilled actress and a ventriloquist

Good list all in all, but I feel like you might've missed a trick not considering Gaston for gunman as well. It's been a hot minute since I've seen Beauty and the Beast, but I _do_ know he uses antlers in all of his decorating, with the implication that he took down the creatures with those antlers, and IIRC we see him kill multiple birds in one shot using his gun. Which is a blunderbuss. Which is to say that if you gave him a modern firearm, he could be unstoppable.

I thought about it, but then I realized McLeech would get docked some points since most of his targets are caught alive so he's less hunter and more trapper. However, I could see him for possibly being the getaway driver because that rig he's got is menacing and used well throughout the film. But again, he would probably lose since even if he's skilled for any terrain, we don't see how good he is on the city streets. Cruella would still win, but I'm sad there wasn't even a mention.

Roarke is particularly qualified with his movie crew not only being experts in their fields, but very strong and eccentric personalities. Not to mention the plundering of ancient sites. If things devolve into smash, grab, and fire on the go, I'd probably choose Gantu. Besides, He broke Hamsterville out of maximum security. Alone. That's not easy. You are dearly pressed for gunner, driver and hacker. I'd recommend Warp Darkmatter as a gunner.

i dont think the guy from the fox and the hound would be intersting in killing a human, he is more of a hunter not a killer and if i dont remember wrongly he do show pasion towards his dogs etc, clinton is defenitly the best option considering he is willing to kill humans, churnabag is probably the strongest of all the villans from disney even if taking in things like star wars etc. he is never showen to be defeated he only went back to sleep when the sun went up, higely doubt palpatine would be able to beat him unless he got his death star or armada of star destroyers and super star destroyers, but in a one to one battle? doubt it.

In my personal opinion, a good heist crew, as in any organization, needs a good deal of structure, maximizing the benefits that each member brings to the team while also downsizing each one's flaws. As such, I think that there need to be a few (alternate) roles that need filling, depending upon the strengths and weaknesses of each person. 1. Team Leader (Diligent and Able to Get the Crew on the Same Page, and Equally Able to Carry Out the Plans - Think Joker from the Dark Knight) 2. Strategist (Organized and Able to See Exactly What Needs to Get Done No Matter the Situation) 3. Advisor (Empathetic and Able to Present the Needs of Said Crew to the Leadership - 1. and 2. - to Help Alleviate Tensions) 4. Warrior (Athletic and Able to Provide Protection to Anyone in the Group) 5. Quartermaster (Angry and Able to Point Out Flaws in Anything So That the Crew's Equipment Does Not Ever Become Useless Due to Aging) 6. Scout (Observant and Able to Spot the Places Where Equipment Needs Repairs, Also Able to Spot Places Where Heists Can Take Place) 7. Diplomat (Kind and Able to Help Keep the Group Together, No Matter the Circumstance) Furthermore, as the flaws of each individual shows, these positions need to be placed in teams, where they would be best suited to work and where they would best work with each other. With that in mind, here are the following teams that I have made for them: Leadership Team: 1. Team Governor: Team Leader 2. Team Representative: Strategist 3. the villan from mulan have NO problem at all killing his oponents, i could see gaston hesitate if he thinks it would look realy bad for the people etc and ganthu might be a little hesitant and even if not he still a little lacking in the inteligence department (Hesitate because he was some type of law enforcement before) for the last candidate i dont realy know because never seen the movie or any show regarding the character at all so got no clue about her.

Honestly I would have gone with the horned king between him and Chernobog. Mostly because Chernobog is the size of a mountain and would be spotted pretty easily. Also, the Horned king would also be less likely to turn on the group as Chernobog would probably just kill them all and take the money for himself. However, if I had to pick a wild card, it would have to be Mr. Scroop as he would be the renegade and provide a little excitement for the group as well as decent distraction and given his nature as a pirate and his unquestionable loyalty to Mr. Silver, its likely that, while he may turn on them or at least swindle them out of most of the money but he wouldn't leave them to the fuzz either.

@@ralphmiele7768 Simple you take what you need in a heist crew and find the worse people for get job/the opposite of what you need like say for cartoon Billy from the grim Avengers of billy and Mandy as the brains .He is very dumb so dumb that he made a chaos god insane and also was tricked into thinking dog poop was shampoo and washed with it. The Gun man is A character that has idea how to use a gun well and will kill, fluttershy is not she clearly can’t use a gun and she is very kind and unwilling to hurt anyone and she does have the stare but that only works for one person at the time while she is staring at the bank Guard the rest have all ready been arrested. For a heist crew there would be more but these are some that would be apart of which cartoon characters would make the worse heist crew.

I'm a little late but in defense of letting Amos Slade in on the heist he has a more varied range of skills than some of the others, yes as stated he is a bit old and maybe shaky, we see he is good at a lot of things through the movie and, controversially, the second movie. Clayton is shown to be an experienced hunter however we only see him get one kill in the movie. Gaston is able to shoot a duck out of mid air with a smoothbore flintlock and we see his trophies in the tavern and being called the best hunter in France. But judging from what the films show us Amos may be the best as a gunman because we see the results of his hunts, the pelts in his smoke house and the pile in the back of his truck is easily several times more targets put together between Gaston and Clayton, and if he is discovered he has Cheif and Copper to assist him in a melee, however he isn't really shown to being willing to kill humans or dogs. Another skill is he is shown to be a good dog trainer so should the crew require the use of a dog he definitely fits the bill. Amos also brings a hunters knowledge as he is able to track and study his prey and learn it's mindset, behaviors, and routines which could be useful for scoping out security guards a few days before the heist. There is also his knowledge of traps. Amos, in my opinion, is also a better choice for a getaway driver than Cruella as we've seen him drive pretty much anywhere from curving hilly paths to narrow forested roads at high speed and the only time his truck is damaged is when Widow Tweed shoots his radiator. Amos can also drive either a heavy loaded truck or a light one which can make a difference. This of course is just my opinion.

Scar should be on the list 100% here’s why: He’s a master at bribery. We see him bribe the hyenas into killing the king, and they fall for it, but he lets them starve and eats all the food which he promised. (In the animated one, in the live action he shares some of the food) His master plan had the lions (except for Simba) intimated by him, non of them would challenge him, all because of his army. Simba was convinced when he blamed the hyenas for everything because they did all the work, he let him free. His web of tricks, and intelligence would make him great for this heist.

I would postulate that Chernobog can't actually leave his perch on the mountain, and is thus useless as a wild-card. If anything he's probably the one they're doing the job for - and the Horned King makes the superior wild-card for that reason.

I'm not actually sure Cruella and Chernabog should be the last members of the crew. I mean, given how Cruella ended up WRECKING her car at the end of the original film, I don't think she's the type of villain the other ones could trust with getting them away safely. And Chernabog... he's a massive demon! How are you going to fit him in the getaway car, and how are you going to get him to assist with a robbery when he doesn't seem interested in money in his original film?

Just judging off of the thumbnail, I'd make Facilier in charge of disguises and Jafar the safe cracker. I mean, Facilier has literal magic capable of making people take the appearance of another, and Jafar managed to 'safe-crack' the Cave of Wonders. Yeah and maybe they could use Nathan Drake, Lara Croft, Rouge the Bat, Wario, and other characters. I Don't know if they should use any of the Sly Cooper Gang because they are pretty good at their job, and I don't think the Phantom Thieves of Heart would be great because they're only good when it comes to the Meta-verse and not the real world. But if WickedBinge or 1UpBinge ever does a Heist Character video, they could put some of the characters i suggested and put their reasons as to why they chose them.
