Quagmire is aware of his awfulness and does in some way feel bad about it. His depravity is an addiction, he knows it, but he doesn't know what to do about it. In the episode where Chris is his secretary, he wants Chris to hit him hard everyday because of how bad he is. There's at least some attempt at penance, albeit poor, here. Brian is just awful in every way. He knows it, but he doesn't care. He's Quagmire without a conscious or intellect.

Great ranking! A lot better than your previous video ranking these characters. The only thing is I would have put Stewie in the bad section because even though he does some good deeds and has mellowed out in later seasons he still does some bad things like letting his therapist die. I also think Meg belongs in the grey area because of her implied strangling of stray cats, trashing of Anne Franks house and drugging Chris. Apart from that great ranking

Mayor Adam West is a legend, but he is also extremely evil. It's due to the fact that he's such a legend that we all remember him in a positive light. I would say the only way he would be in the grey area is if he was totally insane and unaware of his actions, but I remember an episode where Adam West was called out and they said he was "pretending to be crazy" so that he could do evil things and he panicked. So uh... definitely evil. Still a legend, though.

I've got 1 flaw with Vinnie, he did mention at one point that he and his friends (even if he wasn't the ringleader) beat up a guy for doing chick stuff named 'Johnny do chick stuff' which was a pretty crappy thing to do. He's a good dog but there was that, which is why I'd rank him a little lower.

Honestly, my least favorite thing about Ida was the fact that she gave up a chance at her own happiness for her ADULT child. Like, Quagmire couldn't even let his own parent be happy with someone who was accepting and validating of her new identity and giving her all the love she deserves. There should be a point where a parent shouldn't be expected to sacrifice their own happiness for the sake of their child all the time; namely if the child is 61 for christs sake. Quagmire is too old to be giving his parent an ultimatum like that. This childish behavior really drops him on the likability list drastically before even considering all the other awful things he's done.

A lot of people talk about how Peter became a psychopath in the new episodes, but those people need to realize that Peter started behaving more childishly and violently starting from season 2 (He already had some violent tendencies in season 1, but at least he had his limits) and that's already where the childish psychopath Peter of the new episodes begins, the only difference is that in the first seasons, Peter really loved his family while in the new episodes he simply became more arrogant and selfish and I feel like the most appropriate term is "shell of himself" and I have to say that this would also apply with Homer Simpson as he strangles Bart on many occasions
