I agree that Ruby and Sam’s relationship would be in the gray area. I haven’t seen the movie but it’s normal for younger brothers to be annoying to their older sisters. I’ve seen it in other stories like snips annoying Abigail and spirit riding free and Harry annoying Anna in freaky Friday and the sisters always get really angry towards their elementary aged brothers.

Same. I was kind of surprised that Ruby's relationship with her grandmother was put over Connor's. It was only at the beginning that Ruby thanked her for telling her the truth but from there onwards,it sort of felt like Ruby was just kind of using her as a way to get the trident. But when her grandmother asks her to stay with her,the second thing that keeps Ruby from deciding was Connor. Proving that the thought of Connor alone was enough to get Ruby to stay on land.

I hate the fact over how toxic the relationship is between Ruby and Chelsea. But i still ship them, it's not a crime to do that.
