Beautifully done. It's the love, by society standards, that is not supposed to work...but survives no matter what they must do for the good of her daughter. She raised Izzy. He stayed on tour for 5 years. The song he sang, his interview on the talk show at the end, completely told his intentions and his love for her. We all want this for them...that's why we keep watching.

I absolutely loved this film! Hathaway and Galitzine had perfect chemistry which made it believable and sucked you right in. I have watched it 4 times already and I will be watching again SOON! If you haven't seen it, throw on some comfy pj's, pour a glass of wine, grab some tissues, and get a good spot on the sofa to watch the best damn movie on Prime. So worth a night in!

They waited 5 years to be together and during that time they put all their energy into being the best person they could be by focusing on building their career and business and for their self development. Apparently no desire to date which is understandable they knew they’d already found their soulmate so why waste time with another relationship?It’s an amazing love story that really deserves a sequel! Reminds me a bit of my relationship, we're about 4 to 5 years apart but that wasn't the issue what is was so many close to people to us tried so hard to give us reasons not to be together saying there just letting us know telling each other personal problems as a way to just "let them know" which is contradicted because they pushed us together and introduced us, we're going now on 3 years and I haven't regretted a single thing, I'm so happy I didn't listen and got to know his heart, he's my souk mate and glad it's him, when you know you know, people should never let that go because its a once in a life time thing and your lucky if you find it

Campbell will want kids down the line and in the book the middle age women lets him go. She puts her daughter, work and friends 1st before her personal relationship with Campbell because that is the adult choice and it is the choice that all women make. Women the world over put others needs before their own. This is real life. Not some romantic dream.

For Hayes, he's at the peak of his pop boy band career; the media is brutal when it comes to currently relevant celebs. Whoever they date becomes public enemy #1 'cause of crazy fangirls & fanboys. He can't quit without getting sued because he (probably/definitely) has a contract signed with the music label. For Solène, her daughter Izzy becomes a target for people who are pissed at the fact that her mom is dating a younger popstar, which makes Solène feel like she needs to make a sacrifice (the book has a sad ending, where they don't end up together because it's more realistic acc. to the author). As Hayes mentioned before, in 5 years, both of them will be free of their responsibilities ("Izzy will be out of school, and I'll be some D-list celebrity that nobody gives a shit about.") They waited because they loved each other.
