There are acres of unused land. Why these cokes cannot come together and farm even ten acres of plantains so that they earn money all year round. Authorites need to have a declaration depot for all higglers buying and trading plantains, bananas and coconuts Automatically, the goods would be photographed. All higglers should be registered, and assigned to wardens who will examine and certify their goods.

The problem is that Jamaica is a "LAWLESS" society with no governance or accountability for crime. There are no processes / systems to deter criminal behavior which in return encourages criminality. When public officials start doing their jobs at taxpayers are paying them to do. Enforcing laws that deter criminality then perhaps we will see some change. We cannot have criminals running a civilized society. It is quite obvious that criminals run Jamaica not heads of states. There's no governance in Jamaica hence the state of lawlessness.
