Used to sneak down at night just to watch my dad play this game. Couldnt beat Dran so I gave up on the game for a long time. Eventually Beat him but lost the game around the Moon city. Years later bought it for 6 bucks on the ps2 and now bought it for 15 on the PS4. Worth it. Favorite game of all time, so many memories.

Favorite childhood game hands down and im so sad to see it lay dormant for so long. Me, my little brother and my aunt played this all the time, mostly me and my brother watching her beat all the monsters we were too stupid to beat at the time. I miss old times.

When I was playing as a kid, I gave the owls voices in my mind. If they didn't like it, they'd say "Nooo!" but if they did, they'd perk up with a "Ooooh!" voice. When I replayed the game on the ps4, I still did the voices. Muscle memory and nostalgia. It's a beautiful game.

Hahaha I haven't touched this game in forever. It was so awesome. The music was great, the fighting and fusion systems were awesome. My favorite song was "A sinking ship"... Yes... (I would have specified the mp3 file if it had been otherwise..) It's not playing a whole octave higher, just 3 or 4 steps. It should be lower - see this playthrough vid (skip to 0:20) and you can hear what it's supposed to sound like. It's not just yours, I've had this issue with several dark cloud ost videos before. Hope this helps.

While trying to make a lower pitched version I came across something interesting... This song is the song from the OST. Pitch and all. In the game, however, the first have is 5% lower pitch, the second half is 5% higher pitch, and they alternate between the two. Switching the pitches at the right time was easy, but making it repeat is a bit of a challenge, since I'm using the OST version rather than ripping from the video.
