A bit underrated, but Metabolism. The fact that some reptiles can retain energy for months and release huge amounts of it in explosive brusts. The Mitochondria capacities must be insane compared to Mammals.

horned lizards are sick! i knew they could do it but i never saw a video of it eurydactylodes may be some candidates for a part two. shooting secretions from your tail might be not as metal as blood from the eyes, but good enough i guess. or you could ruin it with an amphibian, the surinam toad

Another amphibian for the crazy adaptation list: hairy frogs. Several crazy adaptations, one in particular lines up with the ribbed newt in that they will break their fingers so they can have claws to defend themselves with.

Hi Adam, an amazing video about these strange reptiles, I would describe the ribbed newts as more pufferfish of the amphibians than porcupine, but regardless here some other contenders for a part 2 Gharial- my favorite crocodilian and definitely the weirdest Hellbenders- north americas largest amphibian Japanese/Chinese giant salamanders- largest amphibians in the world Desert grassland whiptail lizards- observed to do pseudo copulation that stimulates fertilization Suriname toad- eggs hatch from the back of the mother Have a day great and you’re awesome 👏

Hi Adam, just wanted to thank you for all the amazing content you put out! I found your channel a couple of days ago, and I’ve been binging your videos since then. I am planning on getting a Leo in the next months, and I am trying to figure out what kind of setup I want. I have never kept a reptile before, so I think I will avoid a bioactive tank (for now), until I feel more confident. However, I heard so many different opinions from different youtubers, especially regarding substrate, and it's very confusing sometimes. I am considering using a combination of slate plates/sheets and some form of loose substrate/Eco Earth/Earthmix Arid to fill the crevices in between, because I want the Gecko to experience some different textures when exploring. For heating, I am leaning towards a deep heat projector, with a piece of slate under it as a basking spot. It’s just a matter of trying out different things to see what the Gecko likes best, I suppose. Again, thanks for all the useful advice in your videos! Greetings from Germany!

Make a video about Emerald Tree Skinks. I’ve heard they are super friendly and like people. That you can hangout by their enclosure and they’ll jump out onto you, run up and down your arm and across your shoulders and back into their tank. And that they beg to come out. That sounds so cool. I’d love to see another video about them.
