He knows what not to play. He leaves spaces and openings for the listener's mind to fill in. His tone just satisfies. The rock and roll sun sets on Keith Richards. Nobody else is in his realm.

I prefer Keith singing... but can't deny that Mick can sing better in a conventional sense and that he is a better frontman between the two!... but the tunes... rhythm ...and that stones sheen on the records... thats coming from Keith's fingers! IMO though Mick Taylor was their best guitarist and Charlie Watts is the unreplaceable beat.... the cool is coming through all the veto powers Keith has had in the Stones!! I just wish the Winos had recorded more albums!!

When asked, any plans to retire? None, he said something like, I’ll have to be surprised to end it all. I wish Mick Taylor could rejoin the band. It sounds like he plans to never retire.
