To those saying "the clock kept going after they crossed the line", don't base the time off of the broadcast's clock. The combine has their own official electronic clock, that's why the broadcast's clock is the unofficial time. The time you see here will most likely not be the actual time officially posted
@andrewadami3920

I think you can also conclude, if an unofficial time gets corrected, it will be corrected to a lower time instead of the opposite. As usually, it's human error from slow reflexes.

@@CombatLegsVIDS It actually is more important to be fluid in your movement than having a fast 40 time, the history of the combine has proven that over and over. There are plenty of players who run in 4.5-4.6 Rand that are far better than players that ran 4.3. Cooper Kupp ran a 4.6 and was the best Wr in the league in 2021. Anquan Boldin ran a 4.7 and lead the league in receiving,not to mention the G.O.A.T Jerry Rice who Ran a 4.5. It's not all about the 40, it's about Route running

@A-FrameWedge they don't only run the 40 yard dash. There's many more drills. Game speed is most important. There's no way to measure game speed until they play...

I e never understood why they don’t make recievers run a 40 and a full 100 or 75? Short routes and deep balls cause some guys are deep ball guys some are short intermediate guys

Whoever is working the clock kind of sucks, there was one guy on there his entire body with a cross the line at 4.48, but the clock ran until 4.67. Come on now

40 time is lame, the stands are empty because scouts have better things to do with their time. Some of these guys slow down in pads and some don't. NFL needs to change this event so players run in pads.

Okay so as far as the receivers go I can this is really the only Collective player blue group that I can say the 40-yard - matters running forward but not out of a track and field Sprinter stands I would love to see this 40-yard - start standing on the line in a receiver stance where there more you know straight up and down I think it would change a lot of people speed off the line and at the end some for better and some not so better call me if you agree, if you don't I don't care I read about three comments but all seriousness if you think it would be way better to see how fast they really are at they're going to start in the stance that they are going to play in then rather do you know what kind of traditional 40-yard - I would kind of be more interesting how fast they are then

Something's wrong with the clock. These guys are going at least 1.5 tenth of a second faster than this.
