Damn I wish I had seen horde tour. I didn’t see panic for the first time till sept 1993 in mobile Alabama at the mobile expo hall. I fucking love panic stream, because literally every panic show they ever played is available to listen to , minus a few that are missing.

My first Panic show! Got to meet JB, Dave, Sunny, Mikey, Oteil and Col. Bruce there, along with every member of Blues Traveler except Bobby Sheehan. Phish were non existent backstage for this one. Got backstage on a BBQ pass! Go figure!

This was my very first concert...I was spoiled so early and didn't fully appreciate what I was seeing. Seeing all of these amazing bands in one day was unreal. Annnnnnd, I HATED Phish before this day.....after the end note of Rift, I was a converted member of the tribe!

I caught '92 and '93 H.O.R.D.E in Hotlanta. There was that one year when Popper was in a wheelchair. I got food poisoning from a Burger King on my way to the '93 show. I stuck it out in the back curled up on the ground completely dehydrated. Luckily it passed through me pretty quick and I was alive and kicking the next day. These shows were pretty dang good. If I remember correctly, Allgood Music Co. played in Atlanta one of those years.

I knew JoJo when we lived on Beanland in Oxford, Mississippi. His Dead cover band was named Beanland for that reason. They were pretty good. They played in a little Irish pub. But when The Tangents came to town, they couldn’t draw a crowd.

Jojo came in swinging. T. Lavits was a great stand in and added to the end mix for sure but he only really played with the band a short while. Jojo was a panic fan and new the game and then some. The new guy thing is a long-standing off stage joke more than a onstage earn your room thing.

If I recall correctly, his foot was falling asleep or hurting him while he was using the volume pedal. It was more natural to him playing sitting down since he initially learned to play guitar that way.
