In addition to being well filmed and edited, your videos are always interesting and informative. Plus, they are so relaxing. Thank you. As for parking, "out of order" is, I think, simply a a ploy to phase out "pay with cash" and introduce "pay by card or app" instead. Sooooooo annoying because now, in addition to cash, we have to carry a debit / credit card as well having the correct app (of which I believe there are many) on our phones "just in case". Progress? Hi, Great video!, do you still do any fishing around Southend, I'm new to Basildon and would love to go fishing but not too sure of any good spots, I was in leigh on sea yesterday but didn't see anyone fishing? Could you recommend any nice place close by please?

Haven't fished locally for ages! Soles should be in at Grays Wharf. At Southend - Thorpe Bay for school bass; behind Chalkwell station for better ones when its windy; and Gunners Park for chance of smooth hounds at night.

Good afternoon, Michael. Great videos. We have learned many things. Just a question, please. We with my brother are beginners sea fishermans and have issues with dog fish. Can you explain how it is possible to avoid dog fish ? Fishing space - Dungeness. In the last sessions, we had 10-15 dog fish per person and nothing else. We are looking for bass. Thanks so much.

Try fishing close in with large ragworm baits at low tide when the surf is runnung and aviod chucking out squid / fish baits at distance.

Thanks - yes fishing trips are becoming a lot more expensive due to parking charges these days.
