what is your programing Software and machine model

So wie ich das sehe dürfte das eine Hermle sein. Bei der Spänemenge in der kurzen Zeit war bestimmt der Späneförderer verstopft.

Needs chip breakers ground into the flutes. Those chips are going to clog up everything.

A better airblast would probably fix it, or they could have step downs as opposed to full depth cuts. If it's a one off I doubt they're too stressed about it

I this took too much time for this application. 4 mins approx was good enough.
@depenthene5 жыл бұрын
So, how would you speed it up? Increase cutting speed, cut per tooth, % cutter engagement?
@MrEmogato5 жыл бұрын
@@depenthene increasing speed does necessarily mean fast cutting, as engagement is too small. Actually these feeds n speeds with full depth of cut are overrated. But thts me though. Personally for me, i would go with lesser cutting speed with more cutter engagement.
@depenthene5 жыл бұрын
Full depth cutting have few advantages. Full utilization of tool cutting length, hence longer tool life, and faster material removal. Smaller cutter engagement also puts less stress to tool. Amazingly enough people tend to put 30-70% engagement to tool, which according to Sandvik Coromant is worst possible situation to cutting tool. Sure, it seems that with lesser cutting engagement it is not efficient, when in fact it might be. There are always other things to consider too than machining speed of part. If you intend cutting speed, resulting lower spindle speed and therefore lower feed, by increasing cutter engagement it isn't that straightforward that machining time becomes faster. Rather bold claim that this machining could be done in half time.

@@depenthene i dont disagree with you. But it really depends upon strategies each programer uses. I still belive 4 min approx. is possible.
@depenthene5 жыл бұрын
It might be possible, not denying that, but is it economically viable? Hard to tell, only longer production series would show.
