All area around Kłodzko (Kotlina kłodzka) is in my opinion the most beautiful part of Lower Silesia. Enjoy your time there. Take some rest to be able to have fun. I'm sure yo'll not visit everything but there will be some other time, in the future to continue your journey in this area. ❤

Hi Nynke - very beautiful Video. We visited Swidnica in 2018, of course the church. In the church several young perplex were playing classic musik - that was very emotional. Kocham Polska❤

I know how much you like being surrounded by nature. It's a pity that there was no time to climb the Polish Slavic Olympus, Mount Ślęza, which you probably saw from the tower terrace - three lonely peaks. This mountain was the only peak visible in the Ice Age, there are stone carvings dating back to pagan times, but it is also the earth chakra. Maybe you will visit this place next time.

Mało znany fakt nawet w Polsce że córka Bolkd Świdnickiego z dynastii Piastów była cesarzową Świętego Cesarstwa Rzymskiego od 1355 r jako żona Karola IV i królową Czech .

If you are in Kłodzko then I strongly recommend Jaskinia Niedźwiedzia (Bear's Cave) in Kletno. 2nd recommendation is Międzygórze an Śnieżnik mount. 3rd - Kłodzko itself. 4 Góry Stołowe (table montains) 5 Kudowa Zdrój. There is plenty of places warty to visit in Kotlina Kłodzka. Enjoy your time there. Best

Hi Nynke, it's a pity you visited the "Peace wooden church" so early morning. Letter, during the day, there is a loud vocal guideline explaining its amazing history and organs music it's plaid 🎶, which brings you back in time few hundreds years ago. The city of Kłodzko itself and its vicinity is worth to spend at least a week in depth exploration! 👍🏻 I envy you to open your eyes for a first time on Lower Silesia, the fairytale land.👍🏻

The city's name was first recorded as Svidnica in 1070, when it was part of Piast-ruled Poland. Świdnica became a town in 1250, although no founding document has survived that would confirm this fact. The town belonged at the time to the Duchy of Wrocław, a province of Poland. By 1290, Świdnica had city walls and six gates, crafts and trade were blossoming. At the end of the 13th century, there were guilds of bakers, weavers, potters, shoemakers, furriers and tailors in Świdnica. The city developed as a commercial centre until the 17th century. A Lutheran church built at this time, along with a similar church in nearby Jawor, were designated in tandem in 2001 as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Świdnica passed to Prussia in 1742 but was returned to Poland in 1945 following World War II
