I think its a beautiful but tragic story. My grandfather fought in WWII in the Easternfront with the Spanish Blue Division. I wish he could have tell me his life experience but I was just a kid. I was forbidden to open his closet, but once I disobey and I saw military uniforms but thinking nothing of it I thought they were my dad's. Now that I'm all grown up and went to military academy, I can identify the uniforms and also why my grandma loved and respected my grandfather so much. Personal story that I thought I should share.
