George Dickel is one of the biggest Tennessee distillers that outsources. I got the Widow Jane 10 year and admit it’s good. I fortunately don’t think it’s worth double the price of Russell’s 10. I’ve passed on the 13 year due to price. Great job with this review.

If it says distilled in INDIANA it's a 90% chance it's MGP. They are the biggest source of whiskey in the country

Maybe they want the vanilla to be the pecan pie. After this review i would not even once buy this. There are cheaper bottles with vanillas and caramel notes. Pecans have a bitter note to them but in a pie you can have honey, corn syrup, maple syrup or a number of things so for them to use that as a tasting note tells me they have never eaten one. If you want pecan pie in a glass look for “Ultra premium select club pecan praline Canadian whiskey. One shot will do it. It is literally like liquid pie. Unless you have a sweet tooth one shot is all ya need.
