I am an 80 year old lady who is lucky Not to have Alzheimer's. I worried about my house ending up like that house. I hope you help your mother keep up her house as wonderfully as you did this house. Thank you from all the elderly people who try very hard to keep up their homes until it becomes impossible to do the work required! God bless you. You worked endlessly to produce the excellent transformation of that yard. I am sending love and prayers for you and your family. Happy New Year!!

She probably wants to go back to her home. Especially now that she’s got Alzheimer’s. Home is where things will seem familiar. Undoubtedly her family would have kept her in her own home if that were possible. They haven’t had enough time yet to get things sorted out I’ll bet. Thank you Alex for entertaining us, but mostly for providing a service to this lady and her family!! Take care!!

ppl, the lady has Alzheimers, what if then while there she walks outside and takes for a walk gets in a accident or gets abused by someone, or what if she forgets where she lives, come on, even if shes more familiar with where she lived , what if she starts to cook or maybe shell forget the stove is on and then the stove cartches on fire, so much can happen, I think she's better off where she's at since none of her children want to carefor her

I appreciate this real time video. When watching the ones that are sped up I sometimes forget and feel bad that I'm so old and slow when doing my yard work. Watching the rate that you two loaded the trailer with trees made me realize I'm normal and not all that 🐢 slow. Thank you for that! I cleared 8 of my 9 flowerbeds 2 days ago and was beating myself up for not doing more. But dang it, it was a lot of work and that included loading all the waste into my car to dump it at the recycling center. Not too shabby for an old lady with a painful back to accomplish in 4 hours. Keep mowing it Wells!!!

Slow is driving me mad, but trying to hang in there to see how well he does the job. I'm 68 and do my own yard work. Gave my new mini chain saw a go today! Not bad for a newbie! Hauling it all to the street takes time and wore me out. I'll put in more time with it tomorrow and hope to finish the tree I cut down and get it to the road so town can pick it all up in one go.OK, so back to this video!
@mufasah8882 жыл бұрын
@pat sampson I bought one of the minis myself. Didn't think I would ever use it, but I love gadgets. LOL Well, I used it several times this summer and LOVED it! Was actually fun to use. @@patsampson6990 I bought an old Wheel Horse Garden Tractor and later a small trailer. Now I just pull up next to whatever I’m trimming and put the trims right into the trailer. Then I haul it out back to my compost area and dump it out. The little trailer is a “Dump Trailer” so it’s easy to empty it. I also bought a Rototiller attachment, a Dozer Blade and a Snow Blower. They’re all quick & easy to change. But the Lawn & Garden Tractors have been so affordable that I’ve now got separate machines for each attachment. Turns out there’s enough of a following that we’ve even got a repair Center where a guy buys them, restores them and sells them. He and I are fast becoming good friends. I’ve bought from 3 neighboring states now as well as my own. Anyway, great video Alex!! Thanks!!

What sad and heartbreaking story of the homeowner, to be left alone by cold hearted narrow minded relatives is inexcusable. Sounds like you were directed to this home by a higher force. God bless you for answering the call and helping to bring a some life back into her home. Both you had your helper had your hands full with all those trees and bush that needed to be removed. You certainly don’t back away from a challenge and don’t give up either. Right up to the end when you plant flowers and add mulch for that extra appeal. Awesomeness

Between us, we raised 7 children. When they were grown, educated, and employed, they turned their backs on us, and won't do anything for us. They don't care if we are alive or dead. Sad, when 2 of them could build an entire house from the ground up. Another boy is a landscaper. We have no contact with them or our grandchildren. The only consolation is I know there are many parents all over the world who are enduring this heartbreak. When they get all they need from you, you are no longer valuable to them, so they just walk away and have their own families. Our youngest daughter (a lawyer) is married to a man who is VERY close to his family. He works with his dad and aunt sometimes. He and my daughter fly to Florida for 2 weeks of vacation with his parents every year. But they care nothing about us. Not even a call or a card on holidays.

Hello, Just a tip, I learned a long time ago, from this very wise old man. Wise or not, he had huge amounts of experience, from living up north and then living down south. He said, taking stumps out is hard work, it's not really your job. If you cut pie slices from top to bottom, 4 slices or six slices, that tree stump will be gone in one or two seasons, with no more work from you or anybody else. He told me also if it's a larger tree, just cut a ring of bark away at the bottom, next time you are around that tree will be dead, then the next season is relatively easy to remove. I never argued, just did what he said, he was the boss and he was the one paying. Good Luck,
