I am currently working on season 9. The older the seasons the worse the quality is but if I have the time and the quality won't be too bad, I'll do season 3 sometime ;)

I'm a bit sad that later seasons spoiled this season's winner AND Mole for me as I feel like this season's Mole would have fooled me better than any other Mole if I hadn't been spoiled. But still a very good viewing experience! (Spoilers for later seasons below) . . . . . From my (Google-translated) browsing of forums, Dennis seems to be considered by Dutch fans to be one of the series' best Moles and he definitely did a phenomenal job of pretending to be just an affable contestant and even convincingly faking emotions during every execution. On the other hand, I kinda felt that he might have gotten *too* into the role of playing a contestant and failed with several of his bigger sabotages, although I do think he had to deal with a smarter group of contestants than Kees or Thomas did. Just my opinion, though, and the season was still a fun one to watch.

I remember watching the show for the first time (season 20, where the reveal of the mole was preceded by a picture of the other 19 moles from other seasons), and I was covering the screen thinking “OH, NO, I HAVEN’T WATCHED THOSE!”.

Ahhh yes, I could have won this season as a contestant. I was saying Dennis and Joris from the beginning and would have split them as much as possible until either my elimination or when Joris got eliminated because I was positive it was Dennis at that point.

So what was the point of the message in Mayan that they spent a while trying to decode? Did it mean anything special other than 'tell me who the mole is'?

Yeah it seems they left that hanging. I thought maybe it was to prep them for the final meeting with the high priestess. If done correctly, they could have asked her that question. (But it seems they had prep with a translator beforehand so I’m not sure?)

I feel like an idiot. I was sure who it was from fairly early - and then it turned out to be one of the finalists - but not the right one!
