Thanks Marieke! That first challenge has to be one of my favorites of the series. The unnerving atmosphere and uncanny valley fit perfectly haha. . . . . . . . As for who I think the Mole is, I'm now sort of torn between everyone, except for Sanne, who I think is the least likely to be the Mole (and yet the most likely to be the winner). Diederik doesn't contribute much, Jochem is just blatantly suspicious, Ima seems fanatic but doesn't bring a lot of money into the pot, and Thomas performs super well or super badly it seems, with nothing in between. If I had to go for one, it would be Jochem at this point... He's just too obvious.

Thanks once again! I'm on episode 6 now (I watch it slowly as I don't like to binge WIDM). My speculation remains the same - Jochem is my mole. It's either he's the mole or he's really bad with tasks haha. He just fails almost each task quite blatantly. My backup mole is Sanne (and if not, she has a good chance of winning it). Immanuelle is a wonderful candidate and I'm happy to see her making it through to the next episode.

I still think it's sanne. This episode she did do a couple of things to cause the group to not win as much money as it could such as misdirecting in the basement and not earning money in the call in challenge.

I know the ending of this episode right when Art announced the twist in the last task. Spoiler.... . . . . . . Even Sanne and Jochem were not suspicious much in this episode, they are still my top 2. I don't suspect Diederick for a lot of episodes. He is just a contestant. Imma is also not the mole for me. When she chose 10 and 20 euro, it was so suspicious but I think she just wanted to win the advantage. I think she will be in the final but lose or she will go next. I'm indecisive about Thomas but now I'm pretty sure that he is also just a contestant. He did not do enough for a mole. Jochem was obviously moling. The thing is that he wanted people suspecting him or he is really the mole. Sanne was also suspicious. During the first challenge, she missed a plus note, ignore a room and then tell them take the left one even she didn't know about that two envelopes. During the mowing task, even farmer is the better place for moling but she also suggested a lot of wrong words at first. And in the final task, she did not find any money. However, she told Thomas that she did call in 10 euro even that was Imma. It made me think she might not the mole. So for me, she is the mole or will be the winner. Jochem is my backup mole.

Thanks again Marieke! A better episode than the last couple in terms of challenges (I kinda loved the basement walk - so creepy!) but I think eps 2 and 3 were the best so far. Hopefully they'll get out of the "wild west" soon. * SPOILERS. * * * * In terms of finding de Mol though... I'm seriously worried, 'cause Diedrik seems to be the only person who's suspecting my mole Imanuelle, and he could absolutely have been the eliminated player. Personally I think it was probably Jochem... who suspects Diedrik. The trouble is, it might actually BE Diedrik or Sanne. Or Jochem. Or Thomas. Basically I have no clue. If it's Thomas, I have to wonder how everyone's been sticking around as long as they have. Based on this episode... Diedrik again looks quite suspicious, arguing over the "S" (they still went with Molboekjes though), not finding any money in the rodeo, etc. Ima got the two lowest amounts very quickly, again making her look suspicious... man, there's so much to explain if it ISN'T her! Jochem found a high amount, too late... Thomas was pretty much invisible, which is what he's been for a while. So based on the challenges, Ima, Jochem and Diedrik look suspicious, Thomas much less so. Based on the contestants' suspicions, it's Sanne or Diedrik... the two people I think it's least likely to be! I could be soooo wrong this series. Oh well.

Maaan... never depend on me being right! I've been wrong about all but one Moles since Season 11 (and the one Mole I got right, I basically suspected for his entire season)... although if I were thinking as I did then, I would probably still be suspecting Jochem!

I enjoyed this episode very much, particularly the creepy assignment in the underground rooms. I went into this episode thinking that if I was wrong about Sanne being the mole, then she would probably be the next person to get eliminated. So, you can imagine how nervewracking the last couple of minutes of this episode were for me!!!!!! Even though Sanne wasn't eliminated, I now have serious doubts that she could be the mole. She just hasn't done enough suspicious things in episodes 5 and 6 (she really hasn't done ANYTHING suspicious in episodes 5 and 6). I am now becoming more and more convinced that Immanuelle could be the mole. Her actions during the rodeo assignment made no sense whatsoever. She knew that the group could only phone 4 amounts to Art. Why on earth would she call him with $500 and then immediately call him again with $20? If she hadn't made that $20 call, Jochem's $750 would have made it into the pot. Thomas sort of did the same thing though-he called $100, and then tried to call $50. At first glance, Diederick seemed to be suspicious during the grass mowing assignment, arguing that the letter at the end of "molboekjes" might not be an S. However, Diederick has said that Sanne is his main suspect. To me, this is the classic behavior of a contestant who is testing his mole suspect, to see if she would go along with saying "molboekje", when it was clearly "molboekjes." If Immanuelle is the mole, it makes perfect sense that she would choose to save Jochem and Diederick. Jochem is voting for Immanuelle, so he was in no danger of going home anyway. And Immanuelle has been pretending to vote for Diederick, so she can't let him get eliminated. I think it is very possible that Diederick would have had the red screen. Or maybe Diederick is the mole after all. I literally have no clue. This show drives me nuts, lol! I wish we knew who Thomas had voted for on the test in addition to Sanne. I think the next execution is going to be very revealing.

I agree with you that this season is extremely confusing and I am enjoying it very much! :) They are really playing the game. At this point it could be any of them. Dierderik was one of my main suspects. But right now I don't know. If it's him then why Sanne and Thomas got green screens...Diederik is not their main mole... Why do you say that Johem is voting for Imma. He is voitng for Diederik... or am I missing something ;)?

I'm not sure about Jochem. He tells Immanuelle that he is voting for Diederick, but the comments that he makes during the test are always vague, so that it's hard to tell who he really suspects. And then on one of the more recent episodes, they showed him answering a test question about how the mole was standing in the group photo, and what they were doing with their arms. I think the answer he chose indicated Immanuelle, and not Diederick. I could be mistaken, though. Maybe the producers are making it hard to tell who Jochem is voting for because he is actually the mole. Who knows? :)

Nobody knows ;). They are all very vague. Can't wait for the final episode. My mole is Thomas but nobody is voting for him so I'm probably very wrong. I think Sanne is not the mole so fo sure she is xD

I thought there wasn't a chance it could be Sanne, but some people have made pretty convincing cases against her. I still see one heck of a case against Immanuelle, Jochem has added very little to the pot even though he's coming off very "player-like", and Diedrik seems to be a big suspect among the contestants and has done some pretty suspicious stuff himself. And yes, I too am doubting Thomas. (Pun intended.) He seems like the most isolated player right now, which is often a red flag... however I think this season's Mole would be more social. I think this is the first season of WIDM I've seen in a long time when I've thought there was a genuine case against every single one of the final five. My money would still be on Immanuelle but it wouldn't shock me if it was anybody else, even Sanne. In a couple of past seasons I've been onto the Mole from the first episode, been certain by the third or fourth, and never really switched. That sure as heck won't be the case here, even if it turns out I'm right!

I've wanted to see someone blatantly lie in their confessionals in WIDM for a long time. There've been a couple of seasons where I would've still been completely clueless at the end if it hadn't been for the fact that every contestant who remained in the game was obviously suspicious of the same person - I almost wish they wouldn't show contestant suspicions if that's what happens! In this one though, the contestants seem almost as confused as I am... and that's saying a lot... so I'm not sure how much there is to learn from their confessionals!

So I do not think it's Ima or Diederik. Diederik has been suspicious but in obvious ways, for example the storytelling, game a few ep back. I feel like they wouldn't have picked the mole for that task. I'm getting tunnel vision with Sanne. It has to be her right? I had her crossed off immediately, but by the end of ep 3 I just got the strong feeling it might be her. Thomas is a possibility, but I just don't think so. Jochem. So we know Roos went for him but went home, however that doesn't mean much because we've had another season where a contestant blatantly said they were going for the mole and then went home. So it could still be him. I don't really think so, but I guess he's still my number 2

Thanks, Marieke! I really love this season so far. Oregon is one of my favorite states, and it's been a great setting for WIDM so far. SPOILERS From the very first episode, I've had two suspects in my head: Imanuelle and Thomas. After six episodes, I still can't decide between them. I am leaning a bit more towards Thomas. If he is the mole, it would make sense that both Thomas and Sanne would remain in the game since Sanne mentioned she threw a few questions towards him. Also, it would make sense that the Diedrik voters have lasted so long if Thomas were the mole because they would have a lot of overlap in answers. There are two big moments that lead me to Thomas. First, he drove up the auction value in every single auction high enough to lose money, but he always backed out and let someone else take the blame. Second, it seemed like a very good mole move to get lassoed right at the end of the challenge. I feel like people haven't really suspected him too much despite lots of mistakes. Imanuelle hasn't had as many obvious possible moves in my opinion, but the radio call-ins in this episode would make perfect sense for the mole as some people have already noted. I feel like I have a tendency to fall for the people playing the hardest being the mole, which usually ends up not being the case. Either way, I'm rooting for her to make it to the finale.

Anyone know of a way to change the color of the subtitles? Sometimes they blend in with light colors in the background.

Click on the "Settings" button right under the KZbin video (it's a cogwheel on my browser), then click on the little arrowhead to the right of "Subtitles / CC". It should give you options for font size, colour, etc. Things might be slightly different depending on your browser settings, but the "settings" button should be connected to the actual video somewhere.

Thomas is still my n#1, but i still suspect Jochem, and after this episode i suspect Immanuelle a lot, if shw knew where to find those batches, it works for the show so she can pick who would've been eliminated and save him and the episodes dont get messed up, they needed to keep all 5 of them.. so after that, I'd say it's Thomas or Immanuelle and Jochem in 3rd.
