I think you should make this a recurring series, give your wife a set amount once a month and let her choose anything and then have you react to it. Could be fun. Just don't be too harsh, otherwise the dog house is calling.

As a nurse , I can tell u that pulsometer is not needed, any watch will work but when u are in school they tell u that u need an analog watch with a seconds hand for taking a patients pulse. For school I would suggest a seiko snk 805, it’s reliable easy to read and small that won’t get in the way. For a working paramedic I suggest a G shock DW 5600, same reasons as the Seiko only tougher, that’s what ive seen most of them usually wear.

Dunno about a pulsometer - Mrs Broke could have made more use of a sphygmomanometer to check how far north your blood pressure was heading! Interesting how the "Fendi" part of the name was picked out by that hole in the cardboard - it's a known designer name, I believe...yes, I'm a few sheets to the wind too. This is hilarious. I believe paramedics need an analog seconds hand to help them easily get the pulse. Also you want it to be easy to wash and disinfect, so rubber strap and good WR.. The best solution for easy pulse counting I've seen is on the sinn EZM 12 where the seconds hand is actualy 4 hands forming a cross so you can start counting (using the pulsometer) every 15 seconds. I haven't seen any other watch so well thought out not any watch with a pulsometer that doesn't require 2 hands to operate (like a chrono)..
