What I love about this movie is that police is not shown dumb . Vijay knew they will eventually figure out what he did . Him putting wrong dates in everybody's mind deliberately was just him being one step ahead and that's court where only 2 things work , evidence and testimony . The evidence part he took care of already ( the body and the car ) , only the testimonies needed to be in favour now .

It’s natural for people to favor the version of a movie they watched first, whether it’s in Hindi or Malayalam. Both Mohanlal and Ajay Devgn are talented actors, each bringing something unique to their respective roles. Instead of comparing, we should appreciate the skill and effort in both versions. The original Malayalam film is a classic, and remakes play an important role in introducing it to a wider audience, which is great. I personally watched Drishyam 1 in Hindi first and really liked it. But when I found out it was a remake, I got curious and sought out the original. By the time I did, the Malayalam Drishyam already had a sequel, so I ended up watching the Malayalam sequel first before the Hindi one. While I preferred the Malayalam version for the sequel, I still prefer the Hindi version for the first part. Ultimately, it comes down to which version you experience first. I’ve also seen the Chinese version, and honestly, out of all the remakes and the original, I thought it had the best cinematography and colors. No offense to the original or any of the other regional versions!

WOW! Loved your reaction. This is the first of your videos I've watched. You guys are so perceptive and attentive and invested. Loved watching the movie with you. Tabu is known as a legendary actor in India and has worked for decades in various languages and won many accolades. You should check more of her work out like Andhadhun, Cheeni Kum, Maqbool. A humble request: please continue watching more Indian films like this and not the action/mainstream space so there's something for the other half of your audience (like me now!). Some suggestions: Barfi, Kahaani, Andhadhun, Bajirao Mastani, Haider, Raazi, Highway, Sardar Uddham. ALSO, in my opinion, the father and the mother are both equally responsible for how their son turned out and what they did to the little daughter. Even if the father said no, that's not enough to think of him as a good guy I think. But mostly, the blame is on the son for his own behavior.

It is a Bollywood movie actually it is a remake movie it is a remake of the movie Drishyam of the same name which was released in the year 2013.Hindi movies are mostly released in South India and their remake movie that are very hit from especially malayalam and tamil language films. As a subscriber I have to say that India has many different languages most of them are Hindi movies (bollywood movies). Mostly as a cinema lover remake films by them making is not the better quality in every aspect, but they have taken this remake very well but for those of you are familiar with Indian cinema try to watch the original rather than the remake. Drishyam movie is one of the milestone of indian cinema. First released in malayalam language, the film has remade in tamil, hindi, kannada, telugu and also in chinese.

i understand we have to look at both the sides but i think Sam's family are of more wrong, because first of all Sam video recorded nude picture of Anu the teenage girl and black mailed her to sleep with him. secondly his mother gave him so much freedom that he could do anything and i think because of having so much freedom and knowing his mother is an IG, he did wrong things, first he took picture of girls who were on an educational trip and then recorded the video of the girl. thirdly the police mother after knowing what her son did which is also a criminal act didn't think he was wrong and instead illegally bitten Anu's family. now from Anu's family side, she did not have any intention of killing him, he just wanted to take the mobile and distroy it, so ethically they were not wrong because it was unintentional. even we audience know who is more at wrong that is why we supported Anu's family from getting punishement.
