Back in 2003 I was married to my husband and he had told me he had a son I was ok with it and we were taking care of him so the mom decided she wanted more money for child support they asked my husband did he want a DNA test he said yes.& when he went to court he found out that his son he was taking care of was not his he was taking care of the child for 7 years. He was crushed.& she didn’t know who the child father was until the child was 10 years old and that’s when we found out that his first cousin was the daddy.

They also had two other kids who were receiving check's under my grandfather he was the biological father to one of them and I will give this to my grandma she embraced him right with my mom my aunt's and uncle's because he was the spitting image of my grandfather we all know that DNA wasn't ready then. But the checks that my aunt and uncle was receiving on behalf of my grandfather they used to split it amongst the biological kids and it used to be a mess my mother was never satisfied because she's a very jealous person and I would never forget even though I was really young my mother dragging me out of my grandma house and hearing fussing and arguments all the time I didn't know what it was about until I got older.

I have 2 friends that found their daughters were not there’s. 1 found out when she was 7-8. He stayed in her life. I told him when she was about 3, that I didn’t believe she was his! But he was in denial! My other friend found out when the kid was 2. He found out the mother knew the whole time, and her entire family knew. I know he was devastated. But he made the decision to exit her life. I don’t blame him. I think the mother thought that if she waited long enough, after he had bonded with the kid, that he wouldn’t be able to do it. IMO….that is one of the grimiest evil things a woman can do to a man.

When I dated my late husband I supported him with his choice to father a newborn without validation of a dna test result. I knew in my spirit the baby was not biologically his but stood by him regardless. I moved both him and the baby into my apartment at the time because the state had to take all 8 kids away from the baby mama due to neglect. The baby was immediately placed in temporary custody with him. He decided to file for full custody later so the baby mama decided to confess in court the child is not his. Judge became angry and ordered the paternity test and conclusive results reached that he is not the father. This messed him up because one he felt humiliated, didn’t listen to my advisement, and caused him to question my birth when we later had our child. He had to learn that I am not the type of female that he normally gravitated towards to feel like a man. I hold people accountable and that includes myself in matters because we ALL fall short of God’s glory. We must forgive others, ourselves and move forward in life. As for the Men falling victim to paternity issues, the decision is in the bedroom where better choices are made.
