Its weakness. I have been a sex addict since I was little, it took me a long time to look it in the face and realize what happened to me was not normal (child molestation). This is not an excuse, I knew that when I cheated it was wrong - but I didnt feel like I was worth anything anyway and when youre in that mind frame you dont think your actions matter that much. I had girlfriends I wasnt serious with, but the first few girlfriends I was serious with cheated on me - and so I cheated too. I didnt cheat in revenge, I cheated out of weakness - after all I wasnt worth staying loyal for. Oddly enough after I started cheating I got more validation from women. Thats when I learned that women want what other women already have, because they perceive value in something that other people already have. If youre single its more difficult, because theres probably a reason youre single and less people want you because they dont want someone no one else wants - I think this is a status thing. My first marriage I didnt cheat until my wife withheld sex from me 6 months at a time - I had a need that wasnt being fulfilled and it was wrong but I ended up sleeping with a few of her friends - this led to a divorce which was fine by me. My second wife I cheated on right away, but felt so terrible about it that I told her immediately fully expecting her to dump me on the spot and I would not have blamed her. That was 11 years ago, I havent cheated on her since and she doesnt with hold her understanding, care or love from me in the way the other women did. Because of her I felt wanted, and then needed and then desired. I cant convey how important this was to me - someone who grew up thinking I would always be discarded. I am living a life I dont deserve, but am extremely thankful for. Thanks for bearing with me, this is my insight into this phenomenon.

He comes to me and tells me the situation, and asks me to come with him to confront her as a witness. We get there about 35 minutes later and sure enough they're still in her bed. He wakes them up by yanking the cover off of them and they're still butt-ass naked. My son whips out his phone and takes pics. When she starts to stir and realize what was happening, she starts yelling and screaming about how he wasn't supposed to be there, and then goes to blame shifting about how he's never around and she has needs. Meanwhile I'm giving the dude the old school Marine death stare. I've never seen a man get completely dressed and bolt out of a door so fast in my life, and I served 13 years in the USMC. So after the yelling match, my son tells her to go fuck herself, throws his extra key to her place on the floor, and we leave. We're not even in the front door of my house before his phone starts blowing up. I tell him do NOT answer, that's exactly what she wants. 581 texts and 73 voicemails later she finally gets the hint. Monday afternoon rolls around and this dummy has the AUDACITY to show up at my front door asking to speak to him. I tell her he has nothing to say to her, and she should leave my property before I have her removed for trespassing...cuz she's no longer welcome in my home. The waterworks kick in and she says "she deserves to explain herself". I respond by pulling out my phone and dialing 911. She storms off calling me an asshole and all kinds of other shit, and I laugh it off. A week later, we find out she's PREGNANT. She tries to make it seem like it's my son's kid on social media, but he prompt provides proof that he hadn't slept with her in nearly a month AND pictures of her in bed with the other guy with the caption "that's the proud papa right there". Shit hit the fan then. Long story short, my son started dating the roomy not long after this and they've been together ever since. Roomy and ex-gf obviously had a falling out and the ex moved out. The other dude saw the posts on social media and noped outta town, and the ex-gf is a single mother struggling to make ends meet because he own parents pretty much disowned her after find this out, cuz they loved my son like he was their own. Not every story like this has a happy ending, but I figured I share my own since the context of that clip is so similar. If you made it to the end of this wall of text, have a good one.

I cheated on a girl once when I was 19, I'm now 35. I would never do that again. She didn't find out, but it tore me to pieces. I found out that she cheated on me around the same time, though she still doesn't know that I cheated on her. Now the reason that she doesn't know is because it would only bring her hurt or discomfort to say the least. I learned a valuable lesson and no one got hurt, other than me of course. Now I am a massive fan of sleep, and I couldn't sleep for 3 days straight afterwards. I felt sick the whole time like I was going to throw up, and couldn't really respond or do anything of note during those 3 days. Sometimes people cheat, and they learn their lesson, but when they learn their lesson they learn it themselves, it's not something someone else can teach you. What I did was extremely disrespectful, it was disgraceful and it was not who I am. It wasn't planned, it was just something that happened, and something I lost control of. The girl I cheated with kept coming on to me, I kept rejecting her, and the more I got drunk the more she took advantage. I'm not in anyway trying to blame her, but it was all me. My resolve wasn't sufficient enough to continue to say no, it will not, and has not happened again.
