When my son was 5 we took him to a kid-week church program that went from 7-8pm. He was up until midnight for three nights after that and still off schedule for the next week. Even now that my son is six, we need to be home, or on our way home by 6pm. All kids are different, but mine sure has has an active adrenaline.

Awesome episode. Women need to open up more about pregnancy. This is so important!! The majority of females never go in depth of pregnancy. They just sugar coat it or say, "it's the best thing in life" No one prepares you for anything. Especially other females. So, thank you for this and more ppl need to realize the female body is amazing and need to Open up more about Pregnancy and How we need our partner.

I'm right there with Angela. Listening to the two different life experiences is so valuable to women merging into motherhood. Thank you for sharing this it exactly the conversation I needed yo listen to.

Thank you so much for talking about these topics. It took me some serious working and prying to get out what was needed from me. Even in the throws of both our kids. They are 5 years apart but I had to work hard to convince my wife to tell me what she was going through. And even after, trying to re-assure her what I had seen did not change my feelings for her. Women are the toughest!

With my first child, I truly only had "morning" sickness. I am currently pregnant with my second child and do have "all day" sickness. My first born was a girl and she looked like her dad immediately but now she's 6 and we're practically twins :)

I absolutely enjoyed this conversation and just the honesty that was shared. I think it is so very important to be open and honest when it comes to becoming a parent and the things that may or may not happen. I always tell new mom's things they may or may not experience any kind of advice or anything they ask I'm always honest I never sugar coat it because you will have people who do that and then you are completely caught off guard.

So this has happened to my sister and her sister in law who’s a nurse explained that the rotting flesh smell means there’s bits of placenta still inside. Researched it and it sounds legit! Great podcast btw ❤

Teach your baby sign language and he or she will tell you “I want food” or “more” or whatever.

I also think she may find that the fulfilment she's looking for may not come from having a child either.
