This is a devotional song to little Karac Robert Plant's son that passed away at the of 5 from a stomach virus. A very moving beautiful heartfelt tribute.

It's a beautiful song but it always has a touch of sadness attached to it because of that tragedy. I guess that's what gives it such deepness. I'm glad Plant got a chance to have a tribute to his son before Zeppelin ended shortly thereafter.

Well hell, why didn't he turn to the Lord or did he do a ritualization or allowed one? Because it was no secret that Jimmy Page was a Luciferian New Ager that practiced witchcraft & I know he did because I did & he was an influence of mine growing up. Heck he has demonology symbolism all over their albums. And what do other fans think Stairway To Heaven was really about, the she in it??? Lucyfer or Lucifer! That song was backmasked. I know that too because I was going to go to IU, to become a Recording Engineerist & have heard that song backwards & they tell you the path to choose is one on the left(Lucifer) & the other path is the right(God Yahweh). They have the backmasked version on KZbin & people can hear it for themselves?!
@glass24674 жыл бұрын
@@YaHKaB_WaRYaL_YaSHaRaL While there it's true the Page had more than just a passing interest in the occult, he was not a Luciferian. Maybe because of your own past transgressions, as you say, you have gone the complete opposite - to the point that you can't see straight. No, there aren't demonic symbology all over their albums. There are symbols, but just because they don't meet your over the top biblical interpretation, doesn't mean they're demonic. And all that backmasking stuff is utter BS.

The song is indeed about the death of a 5 yr old boy, but also how it shattered the hearts of his parents, and in turn, their love for one and other. He describes things in 3s throughout the lyrics ... have a listen and you will see :) To his wife on the opening line - *Should I fall out of love*, *my fire in the light*, *to chase a feather in the wind* Then later on - *Yours is the cloth, mine is the hand that sews time, his is the force that lies within* (Mother Father Son) Finally - *Ours is the fire (parents), *all the warmth we can find*, *He is a feather in the wind* [Karec] Robert's ZOFO sign on the untitled 4th album was The Feather - it is the last symbol shown in the graphic you displayed while playing the song!

This song reminds me of driving back to college, after visiting home on a weekend, seeing my family and friends and possibly a girlfriend. I would usually leave early Sunday evening and have a 3 hour drive and just listen to classic rock and metal and just chill and look at the stars or clouds in the moonlight. Usually with a beer in my lap ( I never got smashed) just a little tipsy. Or hit the one hitter. I wouldn’t advise anyone else do it, but was young and dumb and there wasn’t a lot of traffic on highway 50 at that hour on that stretch. Great memories! Ps. Tasha, you’re so fine!

This song is not a love song in the traditional sense, rather a tribute to Robert Plant's son Karac, who died of a stomach virus in 1977 when he was five years old - Led Zeppelin was on tour in America when it happened. "It was paying tribute to the joy that he gave us as a family," plant said. Zeppelin vocalist Robert Plant and bass player John Paul Jones wrote this. The band had drifted apart, with guitarist Jimmy Page and drummer John Bonham hanging out together and rarely showing up on time for recording sessions. As a result, many of the songs on In Through The Out Door were put together by Plant and Jones, with Page and Bonham adding their parts late at night. This changes key on the last chorus. You don't hear much synthesizer in Led Zeppelin's canon, but "All My Love" contains a synth solo played by John Paul Jones. In Through The Out Door was recorded at Polar Studios in Stockholm, which was owned by Abba. Benny Andersson of Abba had a Yamaha GX-1 synth in the studio that Jones used on the track. This was only played live during Led Zeppelin's 1980 tour of Germany. >> Robert Plant had another son, Logan, in 1979 before In Through The Out Door was released. He has talked about how his images of Logan and Karac sometimes blur together, with his joy for Logan's life tempered by the pain of Karac's death. Plant's 1993 solo track "I Believe" is also about Karac.
